PopMusicJunkie Posted December 7, 2015 #1 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Has anyone else seen this? If not, do it! I love all things "Oz," but I never cared for the original The Wiz movie tbh. The live musical that aired last Thurs took elements from the original "Oz" movie, "Wiz" movie, and the stage production fused together -- and it worked. The choreography, production, costumes, and cast (especially the newcomer casted as Dorothy) were great.

PopMusicJunkie Posted December 7, 2015 Author #3 Report Posted December 7, 2015 i just did not like the dialogue and i was like where is toto?!?!? There were a lot of "Where's Toto?" memes, but in the original "Wiz" movie he didn't go to Oz. Plus I think it would have been too risky having a dog running around during a live show. I thought the dialogue was great, personally, it was updated to fit with the times.

PopMusicJunkie Posted December 7, 2015 Author #5 Report Posted December 7, 2015 i thought toto did for some reason idk why For the live musical, Toto was a fairly big dog now that I think about it. I wouldn't want to carry his ass around.
