I know I heard them say that Jojo sang for Britney backstage and Britney was like I heard this on mtv or vh1 back in middle school it was larry who discovered her, i think she was 8 or 10 at the time or younger but her mom didn't want her to sign any contract at that time but i think britney was part of the discovery

Jojo's career stalled cuz of her label not letting her release music and refusing to drop her so she could sign to another label. She just recently got a new deal so she's on her way back. I kinda want her to write a song or two with Britney. She's super talented.
Thedocreport Posted December 12, 2015 #21 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Yeah I remember JoJo doing an interview back when she first hit the scene in 2004 how she sang for Britney and Larry and how Brit was supposed to be starting a label but her mom thought she was too young to have a deal at the time. And JoJo had some some hits until her label dropped the ball after "Too Little Too Late" single and The High Road album. Then Blackground Records held her hostage for so many years and had her release additional singles under some bogus deal a few years ago. I always said you can't trust a label if your own niece (Aaliyah) wanted to leave before her death and your office is in some glorified closet space still using an @msn.com email address for business purposes lol. 1

She's approaching if not already at Madonna's pop status level (I think #B9 will determine that imo) 1

And honestly Selena is actually an archetype of Britney...the main thing she lacks though is that urban flare & stage presence Britney effortlessley had on her stage & music...(love Selena though) but yes B9 will def be a deciding factor for her 1
