People Who Went to BOMT Tour...Do You Remember How Amazing...

Her voice was and how sincere she talked to the crowd before singing Open Arms....

I remember seeing this tour a few times, and I can say with full confidence first hand - she sang live most of the ballads throughout the show (with background singers). Her voice was so powerful when she first started & she didn't smoke.

My first tour

Suffice to say it was an incredible experience to have seen her at that early yet exciting time in her career. I remember sneaking to the front and there was only a security guard between me and the stage. I remember, since it was like her second or third show - people knew her as the sexy girl from the BOMT music video, and that was pretty much it. During the Black Cat/Nasty Boys segment, people threw dollar bills on stage which was so disrespectful. And I remember seeing a teddy bear thrown on stage and Britney was doing a dance routine and "accidentally" kicked it off back into the crowd. Later, when I saw the tour after she had done a lot of shows, there was a larger crowd, larger venues were booked, and security got a lot tighter.

 

I remember her singing live for the majority of the show except Intro, Crazy, Baby One More Time (the big dance numbers). She was so at ease in her performance and connected with the crowd. She spent a lot of time during the BOMT tour talking to the crowd, majority of it was scripted, but still, it was pretty neat to feel engaged as an audience member.

I went when I was 4! I remember only 1 thing and it was her bringing someone on stage and they say in one of those inflatable sofas haha
