The show really jumped the shark around this time. Never really watched the show, but it seemed so random and the timing of it all was even stranger. I think it was really rude and disappointing of Ryan Murphy. The whole subject was stale at that point, and it seemed really unnecessary seeing they just had a highly rated Britney episode, that she actually appeared in. Above all else it was a really tacky, rude and highly offensive episode, and it didn't go unnoticed. Truly awful.

This was like Ryan's revenge for being everything so "scripted" on her cameo.

I got tired of Glee way before the 2nd season. I'm so surprised it lasted 6 seasons. 

 

It was a major slap in the face considering how that 1st tribute broke ratings records for not only glee but for FOX at the time.  Ryan is too old to be acting that petty.  

Me too.  The last season was put on Friday nights to die and holds the record for lowest rated series finale ever.   That show was never the same midway thru season 3 and should have been canceled after they decided to graduate the seniors.
