If she's willing to take goofy pics when people ask, i'm sure she'd be willing to hug. But don't just go in for it, make sure to ask her first cuz it's obvious she has a social anxiety, plus, it's just the respectful thing to do.

 

I've also read fans say that Fe even warns the fans beforehand, that Brit's behavior depends on the fans behavior, if your comfy, she'll be, if your all quiet and distant, she'll be and i also wouldn't be surprised if she gets creeped out if someone completely fans out on her. It's best to be cool, calm and collected when meeting her.

No. But if I were famous and one of my fans who had adored an supported me their entire life asked for a hug I would be more than happy to hug them. And after the hug I would thank them for their support.

Using the "you're a stranger" argument is so stupid because technically we aren't "strangers". She should get the concept that we are fans and even though she may not know us personally, she she still should know that she's been a big part of our lives.

Like I said. I'll test the waters. Of course I'm not just gonna walk in there and the first thing I say is "can I have a hug?!" I'll be polite say something like "hi I'm cody nice to meet you. I've been a fan my entire life and thank you for this opportunity. It's a dream come true." And then she'll probably respond with something like "aw thank you you're so sweet." Then I'll say something in a joking way like "this picture is gonna be my Facebook pic for the rest of my life so let's make it cute... Do you mind if I put my arm around you for the photo?" And I've seen pics where their arm is around her so I'm sure she won't mind. After the picture if she seems to be in a good mood and seems comfortable with me I'll ask if she would mind if I give her a small hug. I won't ask if she seems off during the M&G though. I've had a britney meet and greet for FF so I know how they go. I was only 17 at the time and it was my first time ever meeting anyone famous let alone my biggest idol so I was very nervous. I was too scared to ask for a hug or to even put my arm around her for the pic but I've spent the last few years regretting it because she seemed nice and she seemed comfortable with me despite my nervousness I'm pretty sure she would have let me atleast put my arm around her for the photo. I think that's a good way to go about it. Like you said, just feel it out. Go off of her body language. It's better than just doing nothing and regretting it in hindsight. Good luck!

I had a meet and greet with her in 2011 and I was way too scared to ask. She was sweet but shy. I had never been more star struck in my life.

Anyway I'm saving up for a meet and greet and am considering buying one when I get the money. But I just don't know if it's worth it. I want the experience to be atleast slightly better than last time because even though I got to meet her, I would like to hug the woman who changed my life.

Idk. I still have to save up for the meet and greet. So I prob won't buy one until the next set go on sale which will probably be in a long time. But I'm ok with that. I've already seen piece of me twice. I had GA both times so I was as close as can be and it was amazing. So I'll probably do a couple more shows with GA tickets and then do the M&G if I have the money to blow.

Try to act natural, be sweet and make her feel comfortable, maybe get her some vanilla candles or skittles and give them to her lol and if you feel like shes comfortable go on and ask her for a hug
