How Famous Is Britney In Your Country ?

I think it will be interesting to know if Britney is popular or at least very well known in your

country since we all live in different parts of the world.

For those who live in the US we already know the answer though

 

I live in France and i'll say that Britney is pretty famous here,i still hear a lot of old songs like everytime or toxic

on some radio stations. Usually when she drops a new song you hear it often on the radio,it depends the radios tho.

it is very sad but britney is not famous in germany anymore...if you would ask someone about britney in germany most of the people would say..."oh she is the one who shaved her head"

 

even during scream and shout some of my friends didn´t even know that it was britney who was singing with will.i.am...i live in the wrong country...

I'm from the UK London to be precise, I would say Britney is still really famous, but she is not exactly loved by all, a lot of people still live in 2007 unfortunately, but a lot of people love her and even some of the ones that don't acknowledge her achievements and success of being an icon.

In Poland Britney Spears is known as a party girl or drug taker. When it comes to her songs they only know Womanizer.

But I must confess she have true fans here. Just look at the video from promoting The intimate collection in Warsaw..

And polish people can't pronounce her name correctly.

I live in Argentina and there are songs everyone knows.. BOMT, Oops, Slave, Toxic, Womanizer, TTWE, WB.. Some people still think she's crazy but some important newspapers praise her when she goes to an award show or makes an appearance, even one of them calls her Queen B

To be fair it's pretty normal it must be like that in all countries because Britney hasn't done anything really relevant lately.

But she's still very well known here and that's great.

That's not true at all. She was huge in Poland up until the Femme Fatale era. She was EVERYWHERE when Blackout and especially Circus were released. Criminal smashed. I mean, Poland was like the only country except Brazil where it went #1 or #2, I don't remember. Scream and Shout was huge too. I only ever heard Work Bitch once though, sadly. But I guarantee you that everyone knows Britney in Poland. She is seen as such an icon, mainly a hasbeen but still an icon. 

Also let's not forget that Poland is the only country where Pretty Girls was certified gold :moorangu: (even though I don't think the song charted at all?)

I live in Blackpool in the UK lol, and I think her popularity over here has faded. If she was to promote more next era in the UK I definitely think she could be much bigger over here. It's annoying because people are still stuck in 2007!

When I was in Paris last year I was really surprised actually by how much Britney they played in the clubs!!     I mean they were all gay clubs but they played Britney at every single one I went to! Banana Cafe, Open Cafe and some club right by Open Cafe called SMS something I think... Anyway they all played Britney at least once! One of them even played a Britney video megamix that included Slave and the S&M remix! It was awesome!!!
