My mom, aunt and grandma know I'm a huge Britney fan. This year, my mom and sisters bought me Britney perfume.

Last year, my aunt and mom were going to take me to see her as a surprise. My aunt had to have surgery so they had to cancel.

On Halloween, I was supposed to go to Vegas to see her and we had really bad weather where I lived. We had to sleep in the airport only to find out at MIDNIGHT that our flight had been cancelled...again! We had THREE cancelled flights. I was so bummed out. I told my mom it sucked because Britney faved my tweet about going. I have the screenshot on my phone. Perfume played at Sonic the day of Halloween and it cheered me right back up.

I am actually "swimming in the rock'n'roll groups", but I still love Britney because I grew up listening to her music, she has inspired me to dance and be sexy    But, yeah, since I actually sing and play rock, punk, grunge and stuff like that, you can imagine some of the reactions from those people when I tell them I love Britney. I think many of them are hypocrites, because they don't mind the new pop shit that is out nowadays (like "All about that bass", one of the bands actually played that song live, UGH), but they have negative reactions about Britney. Well, here's the thing: I don't give a flying fu*k about their opinion about me loving Britney. Britney has inspired me to do my own stuff the same way, for example, Nirvana inspired me, also Lana Del Rey, even Metallica. I think, especially as a musician, you should be able to adapt to any genre and not be limited when it comes to music. I listen to whatever I like, and I can go far, because why the fu*k not? I am not ashamed to tell them I love Britney when the subject comes up, it's my life and my choice!

People honestly dont suspect me being a Britney fan because of the way I dress, and the other music I listen to, but I make no effort to hide it

this summer i told them i thought Britney is doing the superbowl halftime show this year (this is when we didnt know how was officially doing it)

and they were like "oh  I never really liked her  there are so many other talented stars who could do it like Taylor swift"

inn my head i was raging but i didnt want to creep them out so i just said "well her show in vegas is the #1 show in vegas.... she also jumps out of a tree :pieceofwhat:"

and they were like "well thats great for her  "

and at my xmas family dinner my family was talking about how lipsyncing was wrong and that brit lipsynced to sia vocals and i was like "  i got to take a s***t   " 

 

 

I HATE when people try to talk crap about Britney in front of me. Like, dont talk about Religion, Politics, or Britney, unless theyre all positive things we can all agree on.

Only two of friends know I'm a fan and one is also a big fan. I think my bf can tell but I'm not running around screaming it. My mom, sister and neice knew I liked her back when she came out but after 2003 I stopped being vocal about it. It's not cuz I'm ashamed but I just don'tfeel like debating people on her lipsyncing, the breakdown and why Beyoncé or who ever is better. But anyway the two friends who do know and I are planning on going to POM next year so there's that.

but my point is, im just became really insecure after that
