Theory on Britney jean

My theory on the Britney Jean album is that Britney knew she was most probably doing Vegas for some time. The rumors started during X Factor. Team Britney must of thought about this irritating fans that cannot pay to go see her in Vegas and came up with releasing a new album so that it will appease everyone. So they tried to make it as personal as possible to give fans what they want so she can focus on Vegas. I believe they knew it wasn't gonna be a big seller and that's why it was directed for her hard core fans.

I think Britney Jean was made to keep everyone happy. But we know how that went...

Thats a Good Theory, But Britney has NEVER worked for more that a year on making a new album, so Britney Jean had a meaning for her and has a purpose.

 

But that could explain why the lyrics and the background wasn't on that level that we were used..

I agree. I think if it was meant to be crazy successful it would of been a traditional Britney album with more promo included. But I also do believe there was no performances because of the Vegas contract

I agree that a new album was made for Vegas, but tbh I don't think that was the only reason. Britney did go through a breakup and she wanted to speak up and have fun with the album. personally, I love the album and even though it didn't sell well, I consider it some of her best work (minus a couple songs)!

It really isn't. I'm still listening to it to this day. No it isn't a typical Britney album but it's one I can relate to with many songs. It really is personal too you just gotta think about what she's singing.

Exactly. If anything, I think it has some of the best songs she's recorded in years. Passenger, Hold On Tight, Don't Cry, Brightest Morning Star, Work Bitch etc.
