Blackout had very good production values and its not necessarily dated, but songs like the ones in Blackout aren't what top 40 pop songs are made to sound like anymore

 

This isn't a bad thing though since current musics quality is miles worse than any track on Blackout, because all the tracks on Blackout slay :)
