I stopped listening to pop music in 2004 :awkwarddd:

I cant blame ya

I always listened to rock, but fell for Britney and couldnt deny my weakness to her

Pop today is like a few songs here and there maybe, and its way more about the celeb culture and lives of people...totally about the spectacle and marketing, and not about the music

It's gonna canabalize and kill itself off by oversaturating the market...the lack of heartfelt music today on radio leaves a void for real musicians to fill

Record labels are the devil. & I feel like there is something genuinely dark about Britney. And when she shaved her head - that was metal as fuck. She's the real deal. She transcends thru her musical genre. Do you enjoy Don't Keep Me Waiting?

Michael Jackson :crying2: both them slaying the dancefloor, too late I think :crying1:

Nowadays, Lana del Rey I would love

I would say Lorde but she is so shading  :idc1:   :4music:

I know! I love Lorde's music but she's only been in the business for like a year but has shaded a huge number of the successful artists atm. :gloria:

Janet Jackson - Janet would be dancing all out so it'll pressure Britney to step up her game

Justin Timberlake - For Justney reasons and this song would go straight to number one

Literally the world would have a meltdown over a Justney duet! It would literally cure AIDs :crying1:

Something more dark and unconventional

like

Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)

RobZombie

Ramstein

Marilyn Manson (his wife wanted him to collab w Britney at one point)

and somehow I would love to see her collab w some rockstars like Kiss, Alice Cooper, or Ozzy

just some real nasty sleazy dark rock, w some electronic components...

Spill dat tea brah, Reznor production would fuckin slay civilizations. I hear an album full of fleshed-out Dramatics with Trent at the helm. Britney could so do the Hesitation Marks/Fragile sound and especially the How to Destroy angels sound tbh :tbh: I can practically hear her sing "How Long" :crying2: gah, I would die.

Britney needs to mature in terms of musicality, and that would be stellar. Ugh, I'm dreaming/praying for this. At least both Britney and Trent hate the Grammys :pieceofwhat:

I prefer Britney by herself, especially since I think other artists tend to muddy the waters.

That being said, dream collaboration is definitely JT. And I would;t be mad about another Madonna track, because they compliment each other (literally and sonically). What I think it most important is that Britney DOESN'T collab with younger up-and-comers. It's a mistake numerous other artists have made and it just reeks of desperation to be relevant/appeal to a younger audience. I think artists from a similar timeframe of generation sound best together because their work and lives are more relatable to each other.

I think a Britney Spears/Sam Sparro song could be something great though. He sings "Black & Gold" and is the vocals on this amazing track "Stay In Love" by Plastic Plates. Speaking of which...

I think what is most important for a revitalized Britney sound is the use of NEW, COOL, UNDERGROUND producers, such as Plastic Plates and Disclosure (Madonna's sure gotten the hint). I want to hear new Britney music that has the mature exoticism of In The Zone but also the modern danceability of Blackout. And tons of sex sex sex.
