Well, the thing is, they are both really different. ITZ is way more urban and Blackout has a more electric sound. Blackout is probably the album with the best songs production wise. But imo ITZ was at the height of her career, and her best songs are from that album. :tbh:

they are both iconic albums though  :ohyeah:

why don't you like it tho? Because of the non-finished music video? :frenchy:

such a terrible song, definitely a filler on the album - britney didn't even want it as a single

ITZ is not my fav album at all, i only like a handful of songs from it, however it feels the most natural so i'll give you that

I love them both - almost equally  - but ITZ just has that bit of sultry that wins me over. ITZ is my fave BO is second.

Cant lie ITZ will ALWAYS be my favorite everything...its just my fav by default.....But girllll Blackout WAS Britney lol (not to say ITZ wasnt, but it was her transformation, the youth was gone, nothing was innocent, nothing was played off it was raw and more captivating in the best way

Jealous of Flawfree Fatale I seettwe-17.gif

sis, femme fatale can compete with Circus or Britney Jean but it's way too basic to be compared to ITZ or Blackout  :takeaseat:

I actually agree with Joshney!!  :tbh:  I think Flawless Fatale is her 2nd best album behind Godout!!! I love ITZ but the production is messy and there are a bunch of mid-tempos and just not as exciting or flawless as GODOUT and Flawless Fatale. :nowaygif:  Here's how I see it:

1. GODOUT

2. Flawless Fatale

3. ITZ

4. Britney

5. Oops

6. Circus

7. Britney Jean

8. BOMT

You think the production is messy on ITZ  :o What songs, sis? I think only Outrageous and Brave New Girl aren't great, but they're at least both different flavors and still fun. I think ITZ has a lot of the best production and vocal production of her career. If you listen with headphones on, songs like Showdown, Early Mornin', BOM, TOMH, etc. have such amazing layers, lots of different sounds, and they're so thoughtfully put together. FF also has great production but it's a bit generic in spots, and it has a lot more average songs for me than ITZ.

Don't get me wrong sis! I still LOVE LOVE LOVE ITZ (that's why it's my #3 fav album)!!! I suppose by messy I wasn't really talking about particular songs (although I think Brave New Girl, Outrageous, Shadow, Hook Up, Early Morning, Answer, and Don't Hang Up have messy moments) but more over all the whole album is a little bit (yet still amazing!) messy. It's not cohesive at all!! You've got urban songs, ballads, straight up pop, and club dance and mid-tempos. That being said most of the songs are amazing!!!! Just not cohesive like Black Out and Femme Fatale, which I think are 2 of her most cohesive albums sound and production wise  :mhm:
