I don't think any of us cared about the show or the award. We were just waiting to see her after her confirmed she was attending. I'm not mad about it but I find very rude and careless from her to not announce she wasn't attending knowing her fans were watching that shitty award show only waiting to see her. 2

I get being disappointed/annoyed watching the whole thing for nothing, but really, at least she did apologise and offer an explanation afterwards. I agree, they probably should have done it beforehand, but in the end, it's hardly meltdown worthy. 1

I know people from the UK who stayed up all night JUST to see Britney on the show and watched the whole thing for nothing. They clearly didn't say anything because PCAs knew that their ratings would drop.
