I was watching the episodes Britney was in on How I Met Your Mother, and because I'm a true stan, I bought the box set DVD of that season, and guess what? Both episodes feature commentary from cast and director... So here's the quick highlights: * Alyson Hannigan pretends a lot that no one big was in the episode; but she does it in a way that reinforces just how big a star Brit was...she was doing it in a silly fun way. WHen she does mention Brit, she's like "oh yeah, BRITNEY SPEARS was there! * She also says she brought her dog to the set, and that Britney became friends with her dog, lol, and ALyson was super proud of this. * Sarah Chalke talks Brit too; says she was so sweet and "actually really good" in her scenes. * The director mentions that they had never seen that many paps and people around any guest star before and that he was pleasantly surprised that A) Brit said yes, B) that she turned up and was an absolute professional. * He also said that Abby was not the role they intended for Britney. He said if they had known Britney wanted a role, they would written something bigger specifically for her. As it were, Britney was sent the script and and specifically asked to play Abby... They were surprised she wanted what they considered a small part... Thats why Britney as Abby returns because they wanted a bigger role for her, and left it open so that she could return... Thats about it; the second episodes commentary is done by Jason Segel and a writer who did not write the eposide, and Jason spends the entire episode drinking and slurring amnd flirting with the confused writer...worth it just for his drunk comments LOL Sorry if spelt some names wrong, I only care about BRITNEY! 2
