She's with RCA/Sony Music Entertainment, and I don't know how many albums she has to do, I think after BJ she was suppose to quit cuz it was an 8th album contract, but I don't know that for a fact :mhm:

That will make matters worse. Artists that went independent & opened up their own level became irrelevant & forgotten

Not with the right support & if she plays smart.

I mean, she could associate herself with an important label creating something like a division and finally get completely creative control over her music/career.

She's been in the business for so long to know how everything works.

Artists like Eminem, Jay Z and Kanye West have been doing well with their own record labels.

Yea but Kanye west & eminem are still connected to their major labels that still support them financially in what theyre doing because thats what labels do

I mean no one really knows how things are for Britney behind the scenes. Whether shes doing things on her own or not. She probably gives her team ideas on which way she wants to go and then they find the producers for that exact thing.

I would think that she signed on for four new albums. That's kind of the standard, and Britney Jean was the first album under that new contract so after B9 there would be 2 more studio albums. Possibly more.

I think you're right about 4-5 albums being pretty standard, but I thought that BJ was the last one in her former contract and that she re-newed right after BJ's release? :aintevenmad:  Which would make B9 the first one in her new contract... Anyone know for sure??
