workbitch Posted June 10, 2014 #1 Report Posted June 10, 2014 I don't get it. It's a part of her life. She was so badass for doing it. Who the fuck else has the balls to walk into a salon and shave their head? And who the fuck else is able to turn her imagine completely around. I couldn't imagine 2014ney shaving her head and attacking a car with an umbrella. She's become such a professional and reserved person and more importantly, mom. Such a dynamic and interesting human being. Your fave could never. (Please do it again Britney )
GlenCoco Posted June 10, 2014 #2 Report Posted June 10, 2014 she was like: yo wanna talk about something that is true ... take this motherfuckers i aint that britney yall use to know 1
Ariana Grande Posted June 10, 2014 #3 Report Posted June 10, 2014 There are a lot of things about this that I would love to say, that I don't even know what to say at all.
TimberQuake Posted June 10, 2014 #4 Report Posted June 10, 2014 But yeah I don't know why people label it as "the worst thing she's ever done" like who was she hurting??? No one.
Fiyero Posted June 10, 2014 #5 Report Posted June 10, 2014 Yeah. It gets on my nerves whenever I hear any girl remotely mention something about getting a short haircut, and the first thing I hear out of anyone who is around them: "You're not gonna pull a Britney are you?" (always in a negative tone.)Definitely still a stigma there.
Pistachio Posted June 10, 2014 #6 Report Posted June 10, 2014 I would never fully understand this whole Baldney thing. I get that she was sweet ol' goody teen star but still it's just hair and she rocked that style. what's the big deal? she was bald and sang about Slave when Lupita did Slave with short hair - she got herself an Oscar
Louizus Posted June 10, 2014 #8 Report Posted June 10, 2014 she was like: yo wanna talk about something that is true ... take this motherfuckers i aint that britney yall use to know this! so fierce
ValetGirls Posted June 10, 2014 #9 Report Posted June 10, 2014 Though the act itself wasn't bad (and pretty kickass tbh), it's associated with a slew of negative connotations during the harder times of Brit Brit's life, esp to the public. It's a really recognizable image that encapsulates to the GP what happened then. I have no problem or stigma towards it, but to the GP, it's up there with the photo of Lindsay passed out in the back of the car in the gray hoodie
