So one of the biggest debates on Exhale was which show is better.. TCSBS or POM

I saw on ARTL a thread called stand your ground where you can debate with other members on what you think, so i thought it would be interesting to make this thread

Comment on which show you think is better and why, and if you dont believe what someone else says, tell them why you disagree

(just dont insult britney, just criticize)

imo, the circus tour was a much better produced show, the props were amazing, the interludes were stunning, especially the sweet dreams one, britney also has a more grand entrance in the circus tour, but she was lacking dancing in this tour

in POM, she is dancing a lot more but she is missing the confidence that she had during the circus tour, she didnt dance a lot but she owned the stage with her confidence and fierce looks.

the costumes and makeup are much better during the circus tour as well, it is mostly a hit or miss with POM

Overall the Circus Tour is a better show as a whole, but Britney is dancing a lot more during POM, what do you guys think?

yeah the setlist for pom is amazing, but i love how she included TOM and BOM in circus, but yeah this latest leg she has been oozing with confidence, hopefully it gets better and better as the shows go on

did u go to the show in vegas??

No, but I hopefully will. My personal connection is that I wasn't a stan during circus era, but I've stayed up to watch all the POM instagram videos this era so i feel like i've seen it evolve and such :britney-agreedlol:

the only things circus has over pom are it's production and costumes. i don't care if people say she had energy she still half assed everything and just walked across the stage. no real dancing or effort required. no crowd interaction or live singing/not even any pre rec vocals. the setlist was a mess. only 4 songs off the album she was actually touring for, and put WAY too many songs from blackout and itz. pom is without a doubt the best britney we have seen since onyx, she has the energy of circusney and much better dancing than femme fatale tour. she interracts with the crowd a lot, has amazing choreography, the setlist while isn't perfect has all her greatest hits and BREAK THE ICE. the costumes suck, but the production is good. it isn't as crazy as circus tour was but it doesn't over shadow britney either like the circus tour did.

seeing the circus tour was one of the best nights of my life so i do feel a connection to it, but pom is just better overall

omg you saw the circus tour? lucky, ive never seen her live

but i agree, POM is the best britneys performed post 2004, she just needs to boost her confidence,

and POM has one of her best, if not her best setlist, especially since BTI is on it

Although I loved the Circus album, the tour was one of her worst in most categories.

POM all the way. It has good changes like the Circus tour, and she dances a LOT! I'm really proud of the show and the celebration of her career that it has (Circus tour could never lbr). However, the theme isn't as good as Circus.

Both have their ups and downs, but POM all the way :soexcited:

yeah. i've always LIKED britney and found her fascinating, i was born the same year as bomt  so i was too young to witness her at her prime :crying2: but i was so interested in her meltdown like i found it so fascinating and would read about it so much, but when circus came out i loved it and had to see the show. it was flawless i had flawless seats and everything was flawless, i literally remember EVERY detail :crying1:

i saw fft but it was a last minute decision, i wanted to go but it was too expensive so i bought $15 seats in the top but it was the first rowof the section and it was flawless

yeah i wish i was my age now when she was at her prime, it seemed like so much fun to stan for her then :crying3:

Circus because the numbers were more interesting and it looked like a huge show for a pop superstar. POM numbers are a bit uncreative imho.

Circusney was very lazy though. She seemed happier and more energetic but she was very lazy. POM seems to have more dedication as a performer, she just needs to be feeling it more.

i agree with everything, the most interesting part of POM is the fallen angel segment (everytime, bomt, oops)

Circus :mhm: But for me The Circus Starring will always be the best tour because i will never forget the september 23 2009 :crying1: I saw Britney she was in the room, she was like an angel :bigtime:

i wish i got to see it :crying2:

Yes and I find even that concept kinda basic. I feel like the show doesn't have like an overarching theme like Circus or even FF. It doesn't even feel like a greatest hits show because the references to her career are pretty shallow and don't scream Britney that much.

I like that it brought us some of the best Britney dancing post breakdown though. Even BOMT/OIDIA or Boys has more choreo for her than 3/4 of Circus Tour.

I have more of a personal connection to POM which is why i love it more. Even though Circus had better costumes, i still think POM is better

I absolutely agree. I love the circus costumes but I prefer POM...

I say TCTSBS is better than POM. Sure, Piece Of Me may have more choreography but their is far more passion and fire in Britney during the Circus tour without a doubt. I also prefer the production, set list and tour outfits of Circus
