This Song Could Have A Chance Of Becoming A Hit If She Released It Now

I know it's considered one of the odd songs of Blackout but I feel like it could've had a strong chance of becoming a hit if they released it now, especially becase that 80's vibe that it has is super trendy right now. The fact that it samples a well known song also helps, it makes it "singalongable" from the first listen, if that makes sense, plus that kind of speaking/rap part that she does on the bridge slays me so hard! I think that Everybody is such a grower, and with a good radio deal that got the song played for a while people would end up getting it stuck in their heads!

Heaven On Earth could have been a hit, imho. It's way different than anything she made before and at that time that sound was fresh.

Honestly, I love it, but i much prefer Get Back....and can see what it was a possible contender for Blackout's lead single.

I really wish that it was given more then Bonus Track status.

Being "too 80's" is the main reason why I feel like people would be interested on it, the 80's are in, both in music and fashion! I wouldn't normally think that Everybody would've worked as a single, I was just listening to it for the first time in a while and I thought that it would fit today's trend of throwbacks and I think that at the same time is has a very different and original sound (which is kinda funny because it samples a classic but oh well), so yeah, I think that it would at least catch people's attention!

I like Everybody,  but I wish we'd gotten Sugarfall over it. Love that song (though one could argue that Heaven On Earth has similar sound/appeal and is 10x better than Sugarfall).

Didnt sy 80's wasnt being used in modern times...im just saying its TOO 80's to the point where it misses the trend of this now 80's/90's vibe...its like a hit or miss kind of thing to me. There just needs to have a much much fresher sound but with the slight nod of the 90's or 80's would be cool

I think she has too many remake or sample songs and the lyrics are not really strong, she would be compared to the original and criticism would be harsh... There are more songs off Blackout or ITZ that would fair better.
