I mean -

we've now got these "extra" pieces of info - about Touch of my hand, new Gimme More, and Break The ice being removed

Surely it would have been a good time to tease us with some info about a new song??

Additionally, nothing has been mentioned about it at all, and, if it was being added to the show, the dancers would know, they would have rehearsed a routine for it, and more than likely at least ONE person (in the dance crew, or on the technical team at the Axis) would have tweeted, facebooked etc at least talking about the song.

but no.

nothing.

But Britney did say that she was hoping to add a new song, did she not? :zoomzoom:

Whenever she releases her single I'm sure it will be added to the set list. I don't think it's going to debut with the new show, but that doesn't mean it won't be added later down the line.

She won't have new songs on the show before releasing them, so yeah, we're gonna have to wait a bit! DJ Mustard said that his track was coming out soon, so that must mean that it's ready! I'd say maybe for summer or around that time  :yaknow:

None of the dancers said anything about any songs being added except Britney herself when she mentionned Breathe on me, so i don't get your point? They already aren't talking about which old songs are being added so of course they won't mention anything about new song if there's one , they aren't allowed to reveal shit.

And Carlo, if he knows anything about a new song being added, it's normal he won't say it either, he's a Britney fan too and it's obviously not his intention to reveal every single details about the changes and ruin the surprise effect.

Britneys dancers & her team are not gonna reveal whether theres new songs or not they can get fired for that kinda of stuff

Britney did say she was gonna add new music & a few fan faves to the setlist so we have to wait & see.. Shell probably add new music when shes ready to release a single maybe sometime down the line. I really dont think shes going to release a single in February because she should of been on set of her mv already which has not happened

In all honesty, DEBUTING a song in Vegas would be a terrible idea in terms of promotion. It would get so little exposure. If the song received proper promotion and release in the days before then sure... but considering we are not getting any hints at all I feel like it just wouldn't work.

I agree it wouldn't be the best idea but let's be real, we wouldn't get more promotion even if Vegas would start in like 2 month and the single would be released next week so she might as well release it when Vegas starts it won't make any difference tbh.

What would be fine would be to start talking about it, and a week before she would announce it will be released at midnight the day the new show begins. And the performance would be filmed and then put on youtube at the same time, just like a lot of artists film their performances and put them on youtube. It would be imo much better than just an audio or lyrics video, and better than just a "hi my new song is on itunes, buy it there : *LINK* " on social media.

I remember a couple of months ago on E!news they had a quote from Britney saying that she was finishing a song in the studio and that if it fit into the new Vegas shows, she would include it. I have no idea if it's going to be just a random song off the album or the first single. The possibility of her adding new material is not completely out of the question!
