I first heard of Britney back in 99 but I didn't become a true fan until 2001. I was 13 and I remember stealing my sister's Britney album, lol, and after the first listen I was converted.

My older sister would always find it on MTV or whatever they watched music videos on back in the day and made sure I watched it because it was my favorite song.

 

When she bought the CD I ended up stealing it and listening to it more than her because she didn't want it after a while.

 

Same happened with Oops. Kinda fell off with Britney / ITZ because traumatic experiences, but I came back around GH MP

1999 when I was 11 years old. I legit bought her album without knowing a single song on it because I heard a snippet of BOMT on a commercial. Bought it the same day. Weird af, but I became addicted to that album. First album I ever bought.
