Imo it would make sense she would change it, start a revamped show with the same thing, even if it's remixed or whatever doesn't make it feel really "revamped" , ya know.

I don't think that original source was reliable because he was wrong about BTI. But if you're doing a revamped show, the easiest way to make it feel different is by changing the opening number. Britney has a huge catalogue, she could use so many songs as a great opener. At this point it feels highly unlikely to me that there's a new single in the show. We would have been tipped off somehow.
