Awww, so nice of her!

I appreciate Max Martin for helping Britney in someway reach the stardom and for so many songs he produced for her through the years but I'm not sure about want him working with Britney again.
He's not the same producer he used to be and it seems he's more interested in make radio hits with nothing distinguished instead of risking and try something new.
He probably have a lot of pressure by labels demanding him "hits" instead of songs...

He did great work for her in recent years, though. If U Seek Amy, HAIM, Inside Out...

A lot of his work for other artists is generic garbage, but with something like Roar it's obvious what Katy was going for. She wanted generic, catchy pop that would reach all ages. Britney uses Max to great effect when he's a bit more daring and fun with stuff like 3.

Yeah I totally agree. When you listen HIAM, you know he tried something, and it paid off (as always).....

I know he can produce amazing songs but lately he tends to go generic as fuck and I'm scared he would do the same with Britney.

Let's not forget the last word on productions is usually on the label and not the artist and RCA/SM must be thirstier than us for a hit after BJ.

She looks amazing here!

Britney and Max together has always been perfection. It's unfair to compare his work with other artists to his work with Britney. When it comes to Britney he ALWAYS delievers

But Max has always managed to give Britney hits that aren't cookie-cutter. Besides, she's working with several other very commercial / hit-friendly producers too, including the writing team behind Bieber's "Sorry"  :bomt:

Um making hits is a goal for a producer sis thats how they make a living & get their money. Its the artists job to take the risks not the producers, and hes not the one that chooses the beats for the artists the artist does. He makes the beats & the artists go in for sessions on which one they like.. Thts how the process works.

Yas! I love everything you say sometimes!

I remember watching Britney's MTV Diary and thinking he was a bit of a taskmaster, while she was recording "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman."  He definitely pushed and wanted the vocals a certain way and wouldn't stop until he was satisfied.  Max Martin is definitely the best pop writer & producer of the last two decades and his work with Britney is always great.  I really liked what she had to say here.   :fab:
