I think he means very smooth r&b/urban songs. I actually think Breathe On Me and Touch Of My Hand are kinda similar to that style, so considering that Britney said that the revamped show is like a teaser of her new music it all makes sense!

Is there something I'm missing here with The Weeknd? His songs don't really sound anything like BOM or Early Mornin' to me at all. Just boring underproduced R&B/Pop with his annoying vocals over it  :boring:

The genre of his music is PBRNB.. I think Britney meets The Weeknd means something dark, edgy and have urban vibe influenced, yet you can dance to it.

Like member M.E. said, Femme Fatale meets Blackout IMO.

I think it means something dark as well, to honest I'm here for an album darker than the mess voldermort leaves in the toilet

Britney is a real woman and a fcking sexy woman...not selena or taylor...B9 need to be all about sex.

she needs to made the world realize why she is a sex symbol again.

Britney is definitely feelin' herself as of late and it's beautiful but, tbh, I don't want an album of full on sex bops.  I really hope there's a heathy balance.   (I love the description of Femme Fatale meets Blackout because that would be perfect for B9.)   :uhhuh:

it can be a hit or missed.

more like pop+ RnB + mid-tempo + urban

example: songs like Inside Out, He about to lose me, luv the hurt away, baby boys....

The Weekend music can be miss or hit but it always mid-tempo: "in the night" and "the hill" are nice but "can't feel my face" is a big muhhhhhh

Like other member said i hope the whole album is not sound mid-tempo add some catchy pop dance and edm music..it could fit her perfectly and specially the track she work with dj burn.

I'm surprised that Can't Feel My Face is produced by Max Martin.. If the rumor about Britney working with Max Martin on B9 is true, I'm afraid some things may sound like that song. IDK, at least it was a No. 1 single, LOL.
