In my opinion I feel like since 07 up until the end of last year that she was being forced to maintain the image of the 'sex symbol' that she was in her prime. As far as photoshoots and her videos, etc... to me she never appeared genuinely comfortable with the provocative poses and clothing like she used to. She either looked awkward or as if she felt out of place. Now since the POM revamp and a new year coming along she seems to be in a place where she is full on embracing and taking control of her body, mind, and spirit. (Don't mean to sound cheesy.) But she's just exudes sex and confidence as if she's finally found her happy place in life as a 34 year old woman, a mother of two, while being a music icon. I'm babbling at this point but in the end, I'm just happy too see that she's still got that fire within herself and she's freely letting it out.

The only time she felt uncomfortable was during FF & BJ eras .. But u can clearly tell she's comfortable again and that's what I love

She wasnt in a happy place at all during the circus era, but i guess she looked comfortable in the shoots and all that

I respectfully disagree with you here. Blackout, I understand that she wasn't in her 100 percent state of mind but even During the Circus Era she looked as if she was still timid and a little afraid to come out of her shell. FF, I love the album yet it didn't feel like Britney to me. Her true passion wasn't in that era. And B.J., I'm not touching that with a ten foot pole. Overall it appears that she is 'risen' for this era. I hope she keeps it up.

Her confidence actually started to develop in early 2015, remember how the first POM shows of that year were already a huge improvement compared to the ones in 2014? But it was last summer when it really got noticeable that she was really brining it! It's amazing how she's finally comfortable with her being sexy, she doesn't do it because of her work anymore, she does it because she enjoys it, and that's why she's looking so relaxed and carefree. I feel like I haven't seen her this happy in such a long time, and as fan I couldn't be prouder of her, keep going Britney  :crying1:

People expected her to instantly "be herself" again after what she went through and that was unfair to Britney. She needed time to heal, and unfortunately, like the rest of her life, that healing process took place in front of everyone. The Britney we have now is the Britney everyone expected, and I'm so proud of her. She can only go up from here

Of course during Circus era she was shy and all of that, but she still was comfortable with her body. You can see that she seemed to enjoy being sexy and all of that, or at least that she was comfortable with it, it didn't make her look awkward to be sexy. Look at her on stage, there is a reason why some people prefer Circusney over FFney, and even 2013-14POMney, there was no dancing but she was a lot sexier and knew how to move her body, being sensual and all of that. It was totally different during FF and BJ, that's when she seemed awkward and out of place doing it.

She didn't actually seem timid during circus era, she was most definitely herself during that era. Once mid 2010 came a long that's when she lost herself due to losing custody of her children, so when it was time for the FF era she was a total different person.

When you think about it, that's a long time from 2011 to 2014-15

Yea she definitely was different when she came back 2011, but the whole change started in 2010 once she lost custody of her children. So I say 2010-2015.. She was lost for a few years but she found herself again. I honestly thank Charlie for this because he saw how nervous she would get about certain things and he introduced her to meditation 15 minutes before every show and after that I started noticing her confidence coming back.

Can't completely agree with you.

During the Circus era she was still trying to get her shit together but at the same time she was telling the world she was back. Womanizer music video naked scenes were a clear: "I'm hot. I know it". If U Seek Amy was controversial and she was playing a slut as well. And then during 3 and Circus Tour she was serving cheekiness and attitude.

In Femme Fatale era, on the other hand, I think as her kids were a bit older and could already start to understand what their mommy did, she didn't want to push the sexy stuff. And to be honest I completely understand it. That said, she still did shoots like Out and the FF artwork and a shower/sex scene in a music video for Criminal. She wouldn't have done it if she didn't want to.

Then for BJ we got to see her more confident but unfortunately only got to see it in WB. If she had performed with her late 2013 performance skills when BJ was released she'd have slayed us all.

It's still great to see the place she'a at right now. She deserves it :xf10:
