She was HUGE during the Circus era,that's the era when people claimed her the new queen of pop!

She's not as big as she was at that time,for the moment you can't make such claims that B9 is going to be bigger than Circus.

Just because she's stunning as fuck it doesn't mean nothing because firstly we don't know if the music will be good and secondly Britney isn't as

commercially successful as she was! But yea the members in this forum tend to dream TOO MUCH and everytime you try to wake them up you become

It will probably be just like BJ tbh, although i believe it can have better sales on the long run  but nobody should expect big numbers the first week.. Her singles can do a lot better if she promotes decently and if they are actually good tho. But people shouldn't expect amazing album sales (and she needs the album to be good in the first place too).

And even without talking about sales, Circus era was her comeback era, after her breakdown in front of the whole world, everyone waited for that comeback, to destroy her even more or acclaim her. People aren't as interested in her anymore, she's a mom like she said it a billion times the last 3 years and that made her boring, so even if she plays the sexy card now, it's not being sexy on her Vegas show that nobody cares about and a magazine cover that will make people interested in her again, it will need more time and exposure to rebuild her image to be interesting again, especially if she still doesn't want to promote properly.

I completely agree with everything you said! This album might be better than Circus in terms of music,photoshoots and Britney's attitude but in sales?

Musically and artistically, I think it'll be great.

Don't care what others think though. They're entitled to their own opinion. 

 

But I have faith in Britney that she's gonna bring her A-game, at least artistically

I'm confident that the era will be big for us the fans (it hasn't even started and it's already better than BJ ) because Britney herself is at her best since I don't know when, but when it comes to commercial success things are way more unpredictable. As people have said above it's difficult for her to do better than in the Circus era because at the time the most important factor was the hype of the comeback, but I think that if she keeps a good attitude, the music is good and they do an effort to promote in the right way she'll do ok!

Sales wise I don't think it will be bigger than circus only because non die hards don't care enough about her to actually go buy the album and album sales are dowm for just about everyone. But if she releases a strong debut single and keeps herself in the news then she has a chance. As long as the music is good then critically, it could be better than Circus though. I'm excited for this new album and I think most people on this board are and that's all that should matter.
