What do u mean her team didn't let it happen? Larry agreed w/ Britney and thought it was a great idea to release it as a single & include it in the show.. It was obviously her label that didn't make it happen since they are the ones in charge of what gets released and what doesn't

Honestly all she needs is a good single. THAT'S IT. If she drops quality music, the GP will respond. It doesn't matter if she's all over the place: if she releases a shitty song, it will flop. At the end of the day, if all she gets is a top 20 hit but the music is amazing, I don't really care. But I'd love her to have another #1 album and a few successful singles from it. I think it's very possible, especially with her renewed energy lately.

She only said she wanted to add Alien to the show lol that's all, but then they decided to add it the next leg and Larry said it would be a single by then anyway.

But it has nothing to do with her team, it's her label. they scrapped the exploitation which is normal since BJ was a flop and her singles too. It obviously wasn't profitable for them to release a single but with no sales to compensate the expenses for a MV and all that.

And that's why sales is important guys, y'all say you don't care about charts and the fact she doesn't promote, but if her music flops now we will only have 1 or 2 singles, and shitty not expensive MV.

For the first time in her career she can actually go shopping with her kids without being mobbed. I think she actually prefers it this way and we can either accept it and still be here for her releases - or move on.

 

I personally cannot be bothered whether she gets the GP attention - as long as we have something to listen to and enjoy.

 

This may be a selfish opinion though as I lived through every era and loved the peaks - so I have experienced it, so just new music will do just fine. If it is good - it will speak for itself and people will notice. If it is mediocre - no one will really care.. Janet had the same fate recently, if the music is not ground breaking, the GP will be too bored to care.

 

We also live in a generation where the attention span is below 0 - so you have to be in their face every single day to stay relevant - sadly yesterdays news is irrelevant.

Personal album my ass, it's not even her vocals on some songs and she had main credit on writings while she only wrote like 2 words   it was only made in the rush to promote Vegas.

I'm starting to get the feeling that she's missing the spotlight tbh , she's putting herself out there more now & is more confident about it. I think she just had to stay away from light for a while to find herself & that's exactly what she did, Britney is starting to get talked about more now.. In actually excited for this new era

I think she has a good level of attention due to her sporadic sexy posts and shoots, which is great. I do personally feel that she may give this era a lot more than she did with Britney Jean, but I do not think that she will ever get back to the promotional status she had for her first 4 albums. 

 

I would love it if she gave that same effort for at least one more album - it would be cool - but if she does not it will not be the end of the world.

And I completely agree, but I highly doubt she would give her album THAT much promo like she did her first 4 albums. She did a shit load of promo for those albums. I'm hoping her promo plans would be something like circus/ FF eras
