  1. 1. Surprise or announcement?

    • Surprise me, bitch!
    • Announcement
    • IDGAF! Just give me the fucking song now!

I picked IDGAF because I'm thirsty af!!  :trollney:  But I do think a surprise single and video release on the same day would really get the general public's interest and be good for her career and the promotion of the single and B9.  Honestly, I doubt Britney's team would put in the energy to pull this off tho.. they seem kinda lazy with the last few singles. Godney is slaying us like never before in her performances, meanwhile her team is just sitting back being lazy. At least they are giving us more promo than they used to with magazines ( V magazine SLAYS :thirsty: ) and her amazing Social Media tho!!! :yas:

I think alot of people are underestimating Britney pulling off a surprise release.

I don't care how it's release, though a complete surprise would be nice (this fanbase would go into pandemonium online) for a change......however, if she does announce it. I hope it's like...2-3 days before.

Agreed, it's not like she's a flop like a lot of people are making her seem. I think with just dropping hints and teasers to grab attention then dropping it by surprise would be amazing. A week or 2 is too long, it will leak and fizzle or other artists may drop something, like u said, a day or 2 would be good as well :mhm:

Why a surprise release would be a flop lol ? Wont reach the #1 anw. I expect a "TTWE" chart run, small debut then a grower in the charts.

Im so here for a surprise release. I want her to give us the song + the MV then the cover album, tracklist & date release. All of this the same day  :crying1:

Or a announcement on a Tuesday or Wednesday, 2 days before the Friday release.

It's already flopping when she announces it, so if she doesn't it will be even worse. She's no Beyonce or Taylor, nobody cares as much about her now, if she actually was doing promo and would expose herself a lot more, then it COULD work, but it isn't the case.

With an announcement it can have hype (and hopefully they will tease it or something) and let people know she's about to have music out, which is not possible with a surprise release. Unless she's doing performances, appearances, interviews etc. just when it comes out (which realistically won't happen) a surprise release would be a mistake.

Lbr here, besides us , her fans, nobody will be like "OMFG Godney dropped a surprise single we have to listen to this masterpiece !!" they aren't fans so they don't know what/how she's doing. What they know is her last shitty music and lazy tv performances, who would be excited for that ? You need to take that into consideration. That's why a surprise release wouldn't work because people wouldn't really have any interest in that.

Be careful. Some people in this fanbase are kinda sensitive and delusional. :tea2:

I think you're damn right.

The general public isn't interested on her like they used to (She had her chance to get back the GP support with Circus but the comeback was weak af, IMHO. It wasn't the right time for a comeback) and this fanbase has been so fucking unstable this past 5 years so a surprise wouldn't help at all.

Britney doesn't look like in the mood to promote. She's not exposing herself out to make some headlines before she drops the single/album to get some attention on her. She isn't even using her social network in a smart way to get attention on the coming album.

A magazine cover isn't enough(V magazine was more to promote her vegas show, c'mon :frenchy: )

She needs to start teasing about the album and stop talking about POM.

If the ticket sales are doing so well why she keeps promoting it? :aww1:

Flop or not I just hope the album is good and you can feel that she was really involved in the process.  I'm just not here for BJ 2.0

I'd prefer very short notice - maybe like a week. But tbh I'll pick up whatever Godney is putting down. If she wants to surprise drop it, I'm here for that too. Whatever works for our flawless and humble Legend & Queen works for me  :thirsty:

i can't really see them just dropping it.

not sure why - no teaser, no tweet or anything even just a few days before... would be a bit odd... doesn't allow for a buildup
