Britney Spears is working on new music with Beyonce’s hit songwriter Carla Marie Williams.

Speaking at her Girls I Rate gala dinner in London, on International Womens’ Day , inspirational Carla tells 3am:

“Recently I’ve been working with Britney, which has been great.”

Y'all calm down lol, Britney & her team already said that they were gonna finish the album in 3 weeks. It'll be 3 weeks next week and even if it takes them another month who cares lol. It's not like we're gonna get the album next month anyways, albums are always released 2-3 months after the single release.

Y'all are dramatic. Britney is usually still working on her albums after the first single drops. All this girl said was that she worked with Britney 'recently', which could be any time at all. But yea, for all we know the album is months away still.

Well then Britney or Larry should have not saying the album is 80% done or the new song is coming "very soon", make it like something is coming with all the magazine cover and stuffs. 

I don't like when people toy with me like that and now, she is still working in the studio...It's not like a bad thing or some but it's just annoying. 

Also, famous producer/song writer working with Britney doesn't mean anything. They still can make some shit tracks like "Perfume" and "Aliens".

This album better be good or at least decent cohesive album. 

 

True, but 80% done can still mean that they have to finish a song or two... And single can come out without album being finished, right? So maybe the lead single (if PG wasn't one) is already finished and she's working on the rest of the songs.

 

And yeah, I agree with you that the famous people don't necessarily mean quality, but the chances are higher with them!

Most of the time albums aren't even finished when the first single is released, we don't have a first single yet so i don't know what do you expect, obviously the album won't come out in like 2 weeks, so OF COURSE she still goes to the studio, whatever if it's to record new songs, put final touches on some, listening to the final mix or something else. 

And about this Carla Marie Williams, their recording session could have happened months ago, "recently" doesn't mean yesterday or something so calm your tits and stop the drama.

I feel like if Britney's team actually gave people the release schedule people would still find a way to complain. Let them do their job and finish the album. Albums should not, though they can, be made in less than 6 months. She rushed the last one, that was a mistake and they probably won't do it again. Don't take Larry's 80% comment seriously because he probably just said that to say that. It could already be finished, it may be finished by May or later . Either way, just wait for the tease from Brit's IG/twitter or wherever.

As far as this writer she's working with, that's great news and I hope she produces a lyrically strong song and if it makes the album that's great. I know her team and her were all excited about Sia but Perfume is weak (even tho Brit sung it well enough), especially compared to the other songs Sia's written, so I really just hope the work thats makes the album is solid. That's all that matters.
