Mrs Jared Leto Posted March 13, 2016 Author #2 Report Posted March 13, 2016 as long as i dislike her personality or not care about her but it undeniable she is making some serious good music, love me harder, focus, break free >>> i only heard her song "problems" once cause it was on the radio, changed the channel everytime it was on.
Mrs Jared Leto Posted March 13, 2016 Author #3 Report Posted March 13, 2016 lol...her music was a bop and i'm so basic like that. well i'll never like her, but whoever likes her, thats fine
Mrs Jared Leto Posted March 13, 2016 Author #4 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I am not like her as a person but her music. just like i don't like beyonka but some of her old stuff is really good. That made me even mad at Britney, Why can't she release some good music for god sake. that's not even that hard. well thats what i meant actually. i like some of beyonces songs and rihanna songs, but i wont call myself a fan. you dont have to be a fan just because you like more than 3 songs, you know what i mean? 2
Dragneel Posted March 13, 2016 #5 Report Posted March 13, 2016 The baby one more time covers are getting seriously old... Why can't they cover sth more recent?
Dragneel Posted March 13, 2016 #6 Report Posted March 13, 2016 what is sth??? lol I'm not sure if you are trolling or not. sth=something
1kissgoodnight Posted March 13, 2016 #7 Report Posted March 13, 2016 you be the judge... god she's fuckong obnoxious. it's hard to tell whether she's made an effort to look like a schoolgirl for this performance or not, because she always looks like an 11 year old trying to seduce an old man. she's fucking creepy 1
TheCharmedTributes1 Posted March 13, 2016 #8 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I don't really care for Ariana but her impersonations are pretty good. 1

David Posted March 13, 2016 #10 Report Posted March 13, 2016 The baby one more time covers are getting seriously old... Why can't they cover sth more recent? because it's Britney's most iconic and hands-down most popular song to date? arguably one of the biggest songs of the 90s? you don't really expect people to be covering Perfume or Pretty Girls? 1
News Posted March 13, 2016 #11 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Ariana Grande was on SNL last night and hit us one more time with her Britney Spears impersonation. Check out the video below: What do you all think? Discuss on Universe! Read it on our mainsite!
heather Posted March 13, 2016 #12 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Everyone thinks singing nasally = impersonating Britney and not only are their impersonations terrible but it's an insult to Britney 3
Domino Posted March 13, 2016 #14 Report Posted March 13, 2016 WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS LOOK SO FUCKING WORRIED. Like, I'm curious. Not even being shady. 1
IceBreaker Posted March 13, 2016 #15 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Everyone thinks singing nasally = impersonating Britney and not only are their impersonations terrible but it's an insult to Britney I'm not even going to watch it because I don't care to hear it - but I knew right away the approach that would be taken .... so old and tired. As far as the song goes, it just goes to show that her first single is still iconic and memorable almost 20 years after it's release, as well as the schoolgirl outfit that went with the video. I don't know how insulting it is to Britney - she has a voice that is easily recognizable which I think is a good thing - yeah, it is nasally but when you hear it it doesn't sound like all other girls which gives Britney her signature sound even though that's not the only sound she has. 1
PopMusicJunkie Posted March 13, 2016 #16 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Her impersonation (all of them actually) was good, and not meant to be taken literally or as shade. Like MJ's vocal hiccups, Britney's nasally, kitten growl is just as iconic. I actually want that Micfeed Me too. WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS LOOK SO FUCKING WORRIED. Like, I'm curious. Not even being shady. That was part of the sketch. But, yeah, overall she's subconscious (only wanting to be photographed from one side) but that didn't seem to be a major problem for her last night. She did a hellva better job than I expected as host.

I wasn't saying Britney's singing voice is insulting, I was saying when people try to imitate her and think that by singing nasally they're sounding like Britney is insulting. Because you're right, Britney's voice IS unique, not nasally.

Yeah... I don't get why this would be insulting either. Britney's nasally, chipmunk sound is all over her signature hits -- which is very distinctive.
PopMusicJunkie Posted March 13, 2016 #20 Report Posted March 13, 2016 like i would literally trade for that mic feed You could use it for a live BOMT POM mix.
IceBreaker Posted March 13, 2016 #21 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I wasn't saying Britney's singing voice is insulting, I was saying when people try to imitate her and think that by singing nasally they're sounding like Britney is insulting. Because you're right, Britney's voice IS unique, not nasally. Oh I wasn't saying you were wrong...we're kind of on the same page....but anyway, nasally Britney impressions are so 1999...but this was SNL so we can't expect a lot of creativity anymore from this show. 1
JonHardy! Posted March 13, 2016 #22 Report Posted March 13, 2016 She has a great voice! The other imitations were great! Especially Whitney! As for britney, i wish they would imitate something other than BOMT, not even Britney sings like that anymore. 1
Domino Posted March 13, 2016 #23 Report Posted March 13, 2016 That was really good. Her Jennifer Lawrence was great too.
Caroline77 Posted March 13, 2016 #24 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I wasn't saying Britney's singing voice is insulting, I was saying when people try to imitate her and think that by singing nasally they're sounding like Britney is insulting. Because you're right, Britney's voice IS unique, not nasally. Britney's singing voice IS nasally tho and i don't see how this is insulting, yes her voice is unique but it is also nasally so of course people will sing nasally for impersonations, now get over it. 1

I love when people jump into a conversation and don't know what the hell they're talking about
