as long as i dislike her personality or not care about her but it undeniable she is making some serious good music,

love me harder, focus, break free >>>

i only heard her song "problems" once cause it was on the radio, changed the channel everytime it was on.

I am not like her as a person but her music.  :thatsfunny:  just like i don't like beyonka but some of her old stuff is really good.

That made me even mad at Britney, Why can't she release some good music for god sake. that's not even that hard.  :smokeney:

well thats what i meant actually. i like some of beyonces songs and rihanna songs, but i wont call myself a fan. you dont have to be a fan just because you like more than 3 songs, you know what i mean?

you be the judge...

god she's fuckong obnoxious.

it's hard to tell whether she's made an effort to look like a schoolgirl for this performance or not, because she always looks like an 11 year old trying to seduce an old man.

she's fucking creepy

The baby one more time covers are getting seriously old...

Why can't they cover sth more recent?

because it's Britney's most iconic and hands-down most popular song to date? arguably one of the biggest songs of the 90s? you don't really expect people to be covering Perfume or Pretty Girls?

Everyone thinks singing nasally = impersonating Britney and not only are their impersonations terrible but it's an insult to Britney

I'm not even going to watch it because I don't care to hear it - but I knew right away the approach that would be taken .... so old and tired.

As far as the song goes, it just goes to show that her first single is still iconic and memorable almost 20 years after it's release, as well as the schoolgirl outfit that went with the video.

I don't know how insulting it is to Britney - she has a voice that is easily recognizable which I think is a good thing - yeah, it is nasally but when you hear it it doesn't sound like all other girls which gives Britney her signature sound even though that's not the only sound she has.

Her impersonation (all of them actually) was good, and not meant to be taken literally or as shade. :icant:  Like MJ's vocal hiccups, Britney's nasally, kitten growl is just as iconic.   :slay:

I actually want that Micfeed :moorangu:

 Me too.  :lmaolol:

WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS LOOK SO FUCKING WORRIED.

Like, I'm curious. Not even being shady.

That was part of the sketch.   :trollney:

But, yeah, overall she's subconscious (only wanting to be photographed from one side) but that didn't seem to be a major problem for her last night.  She did a hellva better job than I expected as host.

I wasn't saying Britney's singing voice is insulting, I was saying when people try to imitate her and think that by singing nasally they're sounding like Britney is insulting. Because you're right, Britney's voice IS unique, not nasally.

Yeah... I don't get why this would be insulting either.  Britney's nasally, chipmunk sound is all over her signature hits -- which is very distinctive.    :dealwithit:

Oh I wasn't saying you were wrong...we're kind of on the same page....but anyway, nasally Britney impressions are so 1999...but this was SNL so we can't expect a lot of creativity anymore from this show.

Britney's singing voice IS nasally tho and i don't see how this is insulting, yes her voice is unique but it is also nasally so of course people will sing nasally for impersonations, now get over it.

I love when people jump into a conversation and don't know what the hell they're talking about :eeek:
