Crossroads really doesn't deserve the hate it gets, at the end of the day it's a perfect "chick flick" feel good movie, and I still watch it from time to time! I never get tired of hearing people who've worked with Britney talk about her, she's really the sweetest person and such a hard worker. Plus, I LOVE Shonda Rhimes. Get Britney on scandal or how to get away with murder ASAP.

It really isn't, Britney is so ridiculously charismatic and committed throughout the entire film.  (I love the film too and everyone that worked with her have nothing but great things to say.)  Both she and the film were harshly judged just for being a Britney Spears movie, putting that aside she gives a great performance and has wonderful chemistry with her costars.

This was such a good read. Crossroads is one of my fav movies & i hope one day that they make a part 2!!

I hope in the future Britney is able to experiment more with acting (no more cheesy comedy, despite how wonderful she is at it) she's got the talent for it.

Me too!  (Tbh, I thought acting was the path she was heading in after X Factor/before Vegas.)  There's been directors that have spoken very highly of her promise as a dramatic actress and I would love to see that explored more.  I hope she lands a role that more than proves she's a very capable, natural actress and not some fatal box office distraction.  It's never too late.
