well her team did say that b9 is gonna be a completely different sound

the pre chorus gave me britney vibes tbh

she does have other things floating around, but the rest gave me BJ vibes

I saw it was Meghan Trainor and I was already kinda   but I decided to give the song a chance and yeah, I don't like it. The beat is too basic and bland, kinda like some BJ songs that sound unfinished, like they lack a lot of production elements. I'm not saying I dislike "generic" songs, what I mean is that you can have a radio-friendly hit that actually sounds interesting and full, if that makes sense

like ones a dance song kinda like body ache and has a dance break chorus too, but has actually good edm

if she did record this one, she'd probably re-write some parts so

I honestly think the next album will have less straight forward lyrics and when larry said brit meets the weeknd he meant it will be moody. The weeknd comes off as a very whiny version of mj in his vocals so maybe what b9 will be is a moody r&b tinged pop album. And if I could choose some ref tracks that i want b9 to sound like i would say "and then we kiss" "strangest love" jt's "i think she knows/lovestoned" janet's "go deep" and "i get so lonely"

I agree a feature would make this feel complete and would slay everybody

its a really good song too, espicially for meghan   but it would be better with britney
