It is obvious that mush sang the chorus as well as a few other parts. But if u listen to the acoustic version it is obviously Britney for the verses

 

I like that version too and think it's great... tbh, I'm not convinced Britney is singing the verses 100% alone on the album ( "I can hand over the keys oh"/"my copilot yeah that's right" -- is definitely not Britney).  I pretty much hear Myah all the way thru.  JMHO.

My real problem with BJ is what they did with the vocals.

 

It still wouldn't be my favorite album but the shit with the vocals feels like a betrayal.

 

And it honestly is, you buy an album by an artist you 100% expect the majority of the vocal mix to be of the artist's vocals.

 

I don't blame Britney for it.

 

But I just can't listen to this album.

How is Til It's Gone getting more votes than Work Bitch?    Come on, the entire album is pretty much Work Bitch ft. fillers. Such a standout song and one of her best in years.

Based on will I ams track record with Britney (s&s, big fat bass, britney Jean) it seems like he doesn't like her voice. He's not completely to blame for bj, time was short, things were rushed, but Britney should have taken control of the album instead of handing it over. She was lazy with it

I think her team and will.i.am thought no one would hear the distinction.  I know the excuse is her being too busy in rehearsals for Vegas, but she recorded the entire "Oops!" album while still promoting "Baby."  No shade, but Myah probably doesn't require much digital processing and can imitate notes in and out of Britney's current vocal range with ease ("Passenger"). To cut corners and time, Myah's vocals were used for some if not all the tracks.  I hope, and pray to Godney, this practice isn't repeated for B9.  They fooled some already.
