I believe they said the record label didn't want it because it was "too urban". Plus it was 2004, so the Onyx Hotel tour was going on, along with the knee injury.

This morning radio host Mike Kasem, for Gold 90.5 , posted an exiting message on Instagram:

Don't forget to catch the never heard or released to the public version of #britneyspears #TiltYaHeadBack I was in the recording studio with #nelly and Britney when they recorded this. Britney decided not to use it and #christinaaguilera ended up releasing it. But the thing is Britney left it in my car!! 8 am tomorrow we will play it on #LivewithMikeandVernetta @vernettalopez this is gonna be a show to remember tomorrow!

I need a little more Britney and a little less Nelly. Probably look into the instrumental?

 

 

Edit: also after listening to it with headphones, the bass gets REALLY heavy whenever Britney's parts are used. It sounds uneven. But I like it, a good attempt and a decent concept. 

 

We should look into instrumentals or versions only with Xtina or something. Idk.

OMG It's such a better quality demo than I thought it would be too!!! Like finished studio quality demo!!     Makes you wonder if it had feat Britney instead of Floptina would the song have done better than #58 on BBhot100??
