will.i.am's laptop is a pop music fan's treasure trove. Why? It's basically full of unreleased songs by some of the world's top artists, past and present.
We're talking Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Britney Spears to name but a few.
The Voice UK coach explained that he would be willing to allow one of his contestants to listen through the unfinished demos and record them for their own project.
 
"I got a hard drive full of songs that just sit there and we could go through them," will told Digital Spy and others.
 
"There's Nicole Scherzinger folders, there's Britney folders, there's Rihanna folders, Beyoncé folders - just songs.
"When I work with artists, we record songs and write songs, and to get one song you have to record seven.
"So those other six are actually really good. Maybe there's two of them that are good, maybe there's one lingering one that just needs some touching up.
"So you just go through the hard drive. There's Michael Jackson folders, there's Whitney Houston folders, there's a Mariah Carey folder.
 
"Because I get called to - I'm like the person they call. 'We want something different, we're looking for something different, we need an international song.' So they always call.
"Me and my squad of writers. So yeah. They're just going to sit there on my hard drive. Somebody has to go through them."
If ever you needed more reason to pick Team will.i.am on The Voice UK, then surely this would clinch it?
The Voice UK will air its first live show of the series this Saturday (March 26) on BBC One from 7pm.
will.i.am will be joined by fellow coaches Paloma Faith, Boy George and Ricky Wilson for the quarter final stages of the competition.

Will.I.Am revealed in a recent interview that he has unreleased Britney Spears songs:

William has claimed to have a "hard drive full" of unreleased songs by some of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Amongst the artists he says he has unheard recordings of are Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston,

Britney Spears and more.

The tracks are apparently what was left over from sessions where the Black Eyed Peas and The Voice coach worked with the above artists as an independent producer.

Will.I.Am also explained that he would consider letting his contestants on The Voice record their own versions of the songs to save them going to waste.

I was thinking that too, cuz his last album with Justin Bieber and all those songs was amazing, but then BJ was not as good. It might be the fact that they were suppose to be personal and he wasnt sure how to make hits with slow, sweet, emotional songs
