Iggy just needs to stop talking about Britney, her flip flopping isn't gaining her any more respect

I don't think she was attacking Britney but her team for judging her and treat her like a drug addict.

Imagine you invite people to your home and before they go they send you someone to search in every part of your house to see if there's any drugs or alcohol... It's quite offensive.

I don't think Britney has ever had a drug or alcohol addiction but her team is not doing her a favor at all with these things.

Britney clearly had that problem if Andre got fired because he smokes weed

It probably had something more to do with affecting her image than an addiction.

I don't buy the addiction thing.

The only addiction she probably has ever had is to junk food  :aintevenmad:

Yeah, I keep going back and forth -- good for her team making sure she is safe -- but ultimately it's ridiculous.  Britney talked about her life being "too in control" and what Iggy said is a prime example as to why.   :sippinbev:

There's absolutely nothing offensive about it if you have nothing to hide. Britney's team is doing her HUGE favors by protecting her in this way. As I said in another thread, we saw what happened when they weren't around to protect her. It may seem overprotective to us, because we aren't global superstars with children and custody issues. But for Britney? I don't find it too ridiculous at all. We don't know what Britney's true issues with drugs, alcohol or whatever else are, and if her team feels it necessary to go to the extreme to keep her safe, more power to them. I'd rather have this happy, healthy Britney we have now then what we had when she was going through her hardest time.

There's so many other ways to keep her safe without being that extreme, IMHO.

They could have simple ask Iggy and if they didn't trust her then be in the same room than them all the time and that way the would know there isn't drugs or alcohol around.

Iggy have every right to feel offended, tbh.

She can feel offended all she wants, but she has no right to air Britney's personal business like that either.

Do her team have a warrant? No one is blaming Britney for it, you don't have to defend her team for everything.. It is offensive. If she got searched when she entered Britney's house then that's fine, but they went to Iggy's house searching, it's ridiculous.

She becomes really happy since August 2015 IMHO, and I heard there're two secret court sessions about her c-ship during that time. Clearly she's freer and less controlled than before, see how active she is on social media recently. So the right way to make her happy is to let her be free. If her father or her team just can't let this happen, then choose a nicer way to cope with people she collaborates with the next time. Searching other's house is not OK.

Iggy let them do it, she didn't have to if she was so offended by it. At the end of the day it wasn't Iggy's place to air Britney's dirty laundry to the public like that.

You're acting like Iggy was a potential love interest for Britney.  She can't even have normal interactions with a fellow female artist she wanted to collab with because of all the "restraints [she's] under."  (I just watched For The Record days ago and everything she said then makes so much more sense now.)  It's sad and Iggy only said what she has said about her current life: she's overprotected.

What should she do? Just be quiet and say nothing about it even if she was offended? Then the next time something similar happened, B team use extreme ways to protect Britney and get someone offended again, still nothing should be publicized, so they can get away with it forever? I know I probably won't say anything if it's my house being searched because I love Britney and I don't want anything controversial to happen to my girl, but that's just me being a fan. Clearly Iggy is not a fan, she probably doesn't like Britney much, but she doesn't hate her either, they're not enemies. She even said Britney's the queen in the tweet.

I hope her team can learn their lessons this time and stop being so damn rude to others. I'm not talking anything bad about Britney. Britney is Britney. Team B is Team B.

And this comment doesn't make me a Iggy fan. I still don't like her.

I don't disagree that she's overprotected, but I also feel that it's necessary for Britney and to keep her and her family safe. Do I think some things are extreme and ridiculous? Sure. Am I gonna damn her team for it? No.

Yes. She should keep quiet about other people's business because it's not her place to talk about it. And I'm not just saying this because she was talking about Britney, I find it rude and disrespectful when people air others dirty laundry. It's tacky, trashy and screams of desperation.

Agreed sis, :mhm: she's doing herself no favours tbh, her comments are coming off as extremely passive aggressive at this stage... :umad:

She let them do it during the time, so? It doesn't mean she was not offended. She still feels sick about it but she just wanted to have lunch with Britney so she controlled herself. It's like you get robbed and you don't fight for it because you're kinda freaked out. And after this you go to the police office and they say this to you: "you let the robber do it, you should have fought it?"

If anything I hope her team could give her more space. Even the court has the benefit of the doubt rules. Like there's no evidence showing if you're guilty or not, then you're not guilty. But her team treat Iggy like she's already guilty of possessing drugs. And police even pretend they're friends with the criminals when things get out of control, they throw their guns and act like I'll do no harm to you let's make friends. And criminals always take the bait because it shows the police trust them. And if her team keep doing this kind of rude things to her collaborators, the new people near her, it will be hard for her to find a new friend, her team deprive the intimate feelings that friends should have for each other at the first place.

I'm not saying Iggy is her friend. I think it's not the case. But maybe they could have made friends.

Sis...   :gelis:

In this situation it was very unnecessary and makes her team look crazy as all hell.  Iggy shouldn't be blamed for saying what actually happened -- unless she signed a confidentiality agreement, and knowing her team I'm sure that crossed their minds.   :overthis:

I'm just leaving this thread.

What if Britney was the one got her house searched? You guys will still act cool like it's nothing? You'll be freaking out saying that's beyond rude.

I'm not a Iggy fan and I'm not defending her. What her team did is not OK to any one except some few people that harmed Britney before I guess, let's not list their names.

And if her team keep doing this kind of things, even if Iggy doesn't say nothing this time, there will be Aggys, Uggys or Oggys instead to say this in public in the future. The earlier, the better. So they can learn their lessons and stop being offensive to others the next time.

There are many ways to keep Britney safe, let's not choose the worst one.

And I trust Britney's smart enough nowadays to keep herself away from all the crazy stuff. She's brave, smart and mature. She can handle things by herself.

Bye.

Your analogy is a bit extreme, and I wouldn't say it's the same at all. I'm not arguing that her team is overprotective at times, but I also don't think there's anything wrong in being that way when you're dealing with a superstar like Britney.

It may make her team look that way, but it also makes Iggy look petty and desperate to be talking about it.

Her talking about this:

-Isn't going to stop Britney's team from doing this

-Isn't gonna help her new single become a hit

-Doesn't make Britney look good

-Doesn't make Iggy not look petty and butthurt

So where's the positive in bringing this up?

She's a hater and salty because PG didn't do well and wants to blame it on Britney even though truly the song just sounds like warmed over fancy so it wasn't gonna be huge anyway.

Can we please ignore this wannabe rapper?

There was no malicious intent with what Iggy said.   What initially was presented as a simple, lunch date between the two was something her team also needed to control.   They look crazy, not "may[be]." :prettay:

You don't know that any more than I know there was.
