now seriously, what's remarkable about blackout is the fact that britney could come up with such a GREAT album when everything else around her was in shambles. no one was expecting something like that and many didn't even acknowledge its quality.

ITZ is amazing, but brit was already at her peak back then, so it was no surprise...
