ITZ without question, for me

Oops was a perfect bubblegum pop era, and I have great fond memories of being a child and Britney being everywhere... but ITZ  is where she came into her own. For me, it's still her best album by miles, and the first time we really got her full creativity and potential. It has her best music videos, her best dancing, an incredible tour, my favourite special (ABC's ITZ special shits on my whole life), won Brit her only Grammy, and gave us Britney at her absolute sexiest and most confident and free. I remember going into my grade 7 class the morning after the Toxic video premiered and it was all everyone was talking about   

I remember radio stations and news talking about Britney 24/7 - the Madonna kiss, the controversy around the original Everytime video concept, the Vegas wedding, etc. It wasn't a perfect era like Oops was, but it was the most Britney era, and I love it for that

Such a tough choice but I went with ITZ.. This era was so adult compared to her earlier eras. I mean the In The Zone & Out All Night special alone was probably enough to make me vote for this era.. but then add the MATM & Toxic Videos and I'm completely SLAYED!!!

Are two very good eras, each in their own way and to me "In The Zone" era won the battle of the eras, if it was not the fact of having been incomplete with only 3 videos and a tour that was stopped after 3 months and although she won this era her first and only Grammy to date, have made a video / single with Madonna and kissing her at the VMAs, Britney during this era, emotionally was not at his best because even was going to end her relationship with Justin and being widely criticized for several things from being too sexy, the playback, parties all night long and alleged flirts that were assigned weekly, thus spoiling their innocent girl image and being a role model. So in artistic terms, "In The Zone" era it was the best for her, because it had excellent videos and everything she made to the album to the tour had too much of her and its deposited ideas doing more things her way, but in emotional and psychological terms she must have happier memories of "Oops" era, because there still in a relationship with JT, was considered the American dream and was fairly acclaimed as an artist.

 

And we must not forget that it was in the "Oops" era she did a thunderous performance that brought the world to comment their outfit (for me is the best performance that she did at the VMA's and beyond dancing in "Oops" in "I can not get the satisfaction" she sang live!), and established the best-selling record album in the first week by a female artist (and that would last 15 long years)!

 OMG how could I forget the flawless Everytime Video!?!?! She may not have been sporting the beach abs of DLMBTLTK from Oops but DAMN can she rock so HOTTTT NEGLIGEE and removing said negligee for an iconic dip in the tub!!!          PS. I saw Britney Spears wear Aviator Sunglasses and a Trucker Hat in the Everytime Video, so I wear Aviator Sunglasses and a Trucker Hat!

Itz was the album with the most creative input from her. The songs were good the videos were amazing. I consider it one of her best albums to this day and it wasn't as overly controlled as oops was.
