We know how much streaming counts nowadays when it comes to chart positions, it's something that we've discussed on the forum before, and it seems like a lot of singers are taking advantage of that! Ariana Grande uploaded on her VEVO the audio of Dangerous Woman plus two videos (one acapella and one video that she called Visual 1) apart from the official MV which if I'm not wrong is yet to be released, and Iggy also had a dance video uploaded before the official MV. All these different videos are going to give them a lot of streaming points and will help their singles a lot!

My point is, don't you think that Britney should also have different special videos related to the lead single? It wouldn't just give her streaming points, it would also keep the song "alive" as she'd keep making headlines with each release. Discuss  :blackoutsmiley:

She should: YES.
She will do it: NO

Britney and her team are cheap and lazy af. We will be lucky enough if we get one single good video.

It also would help to the album give different bonus track to different editions and streaming services. She probably have recorded more than 30 songs so why don't use some of them on her own benefit??

There's so many good things Britney could do to get a successful album/single and get her relevancy back but she doesn't seem too interested on it.

Is a good idea. Britney has done something when she released the single "Hold It Against Me" and 13 days before the MV be released complete it piqued our curiosity to throw enough teasers, but it was to keep the curiosity with the video and not so much with the single because she always merely release the single video in order to be that the only way to promote it and from time to time there takes a single remix to help too.

(sorry my english)

She should I agree. I had posted about her releasing dual singles and playing on a sort of Day/Night vibe almost, Yin & Yang concept where she releases one song and video and the vid does a to be continued or just shows a time or something then the 2nd video drops later that night.

I would LOVE that. It would amazing also a full album playing with duality!  :crying1:

She did something similar with TTWE, releasing the all-dance version after the original video. I think we'll get a fairly basic strategy, which I'm fine with. Upload the audio to Vevo / Spotify / Apple Music, then drop the video a few weeks later. As long as the song is good, it's going to take off. The GP are craving new Britney music right now - despite what the desperate trolls continue to say, there's hype (if there wasn't, those trolls wouldn't be here trying so hard.) Britney is trending on Facebook again today simply for stepping out in a bikini / posting the TBT with Leo. Everyone knows she's looking amazing and working on a record. As long as the quality is there, it will do well.

But, sure, I'd love a unique strategy. We'll see what Godney has up her sleeve soon...

THIS

I'm not sure how.. :witchney: ..but your posts are always correct AF or hilarious AF!!!

Anyway..I would LOVE another dance oriented version of a video like what they did with TTWE. tbh I watch and like the Dance TTWE video better than the original!! But 80% for my stanning is because of Danceney so this would be ideal for me! :sorrynotsorry:  I LIVE FOR DANCENEY :thirsty:  But other than that yeah I think obviously it would be good to release multiple stream teasers before the official MV to boost streams. Seem pretty standard these days.. :mhm:

I see the point you are trying to make, and yes Britney should do that, however, Ariana Grande's Visual 1, is the official video of Dangerous Woman. She will have TWO official videos for it. One a glamourous sexy, the other a naughty sexy, extreme sexy.

For me, you have to be careful on how you do it, because sometimes the creative visual videos overshadow the actual video, something I think is happening to Iggy with Team. For me, I'd like it if Britney first offered us a lyric video, and then released the actual Music Video, then release an acoustic video. I think Britney doing a 1 Mic, 1 Take video, or just a regular Acoustic would be enough for the song to go viral. They could even possibly release it before the music video, to pimp up the original, announcing it at the end of the video.

"Britney Announces Premiere of New Video, with Acoustic Performance!"

"Britney is 100% Live, New Acoustic video announces premiere of Music Video"

Yes, I've also thought about what you said, that's why I think that all the "alternative" videos should be released after the official one is out, so that's the one that gets all the attention from the beggining and then the others are used to "remind" people that the song exists. But yeah, that is a good idea aswell, using something that would definitely catch people's attention to announce the premier of the official MV, I like that  :wutwut:

If Britney dropped the single audio to youtube and then as the buzz started to die after few days later dropped a live acoustic version of it she'd be guaranteed a streaming hit.

The amount of hits an official video of Britney singing live would get would be crazy.

Even if it wasn't actually live just like unedited takes from the studio put together to make it sound live. Like people did with the Break the Ice studio session leaks.

It'd also help kick start it on radio if it does well online first.

Well i don't think it would have the same impact unless they are literally watching Britney sing in the studio, and it sounds proper. It's not easy to fool people on live singing these days.
