I think that the live moments from the FFT and the raw vocal clips of songs like Perfume, Passenger and Alien prove that she still has a pleasant tone and a good lower register, and it might be damaged because of years of not training her singing, but I still think that with some practice and the right kind of songs she could deliver some pretty good live performance! For starters I just want her to explore her range in the studio, I don't mind her lip-synching as long as we get songs that are an actual proof of what she can do vocally. So yeah, I'm not asking her to release an Adele-kind of album (I wouldn't want her to anyway), but I'd like to hear some natural sounding songs on B9!

Smoking can also take an effect on the vocals as well lbr. After her meltdown she hasn't her vocals hasn't been the same

I hate those kind of videos and things like that, as if her "baby voice" wasn't her real voice or something, it's stupid. It IS her real voice too , just a higher pitch, smh, yes Britney as everybody else can sing with low pitched vocals and/or high pitched vocals.

Not at ppl making it a sad story. :orangu:

Britney agreed to do that baby voice because she wanted to suck on money and fame too.

If her vocals were damaged, that's her fault too! Not only the producers.

Her natural tone is way more beautiful than that high pitched voice she's been using for so long.
I really doubt her voice is lost, she just needs to work on it. IMHO, it's a self-esteem issue.

I like her voice in passenger and alien a lot!

I think she has probably stopped training vocally otherwise she would sound better than her 11-year old self...

She has a very unique voice which can either sound more like a baby or more deep depending on the song...

In some songs her voice is totally boring, e.g. from the bottom of my broken heart. I could cut my wrist if i tried to listen to the whole song...

I would die if she sang live just once on POM, I don't care if she doesn't sound perfect. Just knowing that she's prepared to do that makes me so happy

I don't think the voice can be damaged after not trained for years. It's just not strong enough because of the lack of vocal training. It's like the muscles. If you don't train your muscles, they become weak.

Smoking on the other hand may damage the vocal chord. Improper use of singing techniques could damage it too.

I wish Britney continued to train her voice because during her pre-fame mall tours she sang the David Foster tracks -- which were more vocally driven and in the same baby/girlish register -- with ease while dancing.   It's never too late but she hasn't flexed her vocal cords beyond a recording studio in years... and then there's the bulk of Britney Jean.   :eeek:   As great as she looks now I'd love to see her working on strengthening her voice more. :kay:

Her baby voice is just as real as her lower register voice :orangu: I cant at the video making it into some tragedy story :gloria: Homegirl prolly just has confidence issues when it comes to singing live thats why she doesn't do it or does but very low over the track :mhm:

Also bashing her for being outta tune in the DWAD tour is stupid. :tbh: Bitch was dancing, outta breath and singing over a loud track so of course homegirl wasn't going to be paying attention to her tone.

I agree.

I think her voice would "improve" (sound stronger) if she trained and sang songs in her natural key (her "baby" voice is real but obviously a stretch for her range). But everyone expects the higher key songs. If you listen to people like Katy Perry they have a hard time reaching the high notes because most people aren't a Mariah-style soprano but for some reason Top 40 loves their high pitched tunes.

I don't think her voice is too damaged. The thing that would really permanently damage it is smoking, and that would make it low and rough sounding, like Marrianne Faithful or Joni Mitchell.

It all depends on if she would be willing to shift her whole image. Madonna went from baby voice to taking lessons and singing lower. Her image also shifted (as it does over and over lol).

I guess Britney would risk losing some fan base but I highly doubt it.

Yeah her vocals on her older materials were great like DLMBTLTK for e.g.

She may not have a big voice like Christina or Adele, but the tone in her voice is really beautiful. I hope she capitalizes more on her sultry voice too like during her ITZ era and also because the demos  ike Strangest Love prove that she can sound so amazing without belting notes. I'd also really like for her to use more of her signature falsetto like BTI. Her falsettos are just so effortless!

I hope the producers on B9 know how to work and use her voice to its fullest potential because with the right music and type of style, her voice could sound REALLY good tbh.

I've always thought Britney is more than just a pop artist. She should try to venture into genres such as alternative because it's so unique sounding and it would complement her voice well IMO.

So I'm praying that we get at least a little bit of that on #B9!    :crying1:

ALSO, with the newfound confidence she has with her body, I hope she gets a little more confident with her own voice, and try to take a few risks. lol
