OK, so everyone knows that the director said that there was no more footage available of the Outrageous video and that there was no way to piece together what they had to make a full video...  but what happened to all of these completed scenes? look at the injury video...

One of the dancers, Leo Moctezuma, confirmed that just before the injury, the video was already pretty much complete..

The trench coat and underwear scene... there must be some of this that is actually available? Right?

And there must be more of this filmed...

It is just that they said the reason they cannot release it is because Britney only shot one scene and they could not build on it... but clearly a lot more was actually shot...

I get that there is no point harping on about it.. but fuck it, I want some answers...

I never believed that they couldn't have done a full video, I'm sure they had enough material to at least edit a dance version in case the storyline was incomplete. My theory is that considering that Britney was injured they just decided to give up on the single and the rest of the era and just went to release My Prerrogative  :yaknow:

I do not mind that they did not focus on it as a single, although that would be great, what I do mind is that they do not release it as a bonus on a DVD or something, especially as they actually can.. fans really want to see it, so I do not understand what the reason could be for depriving us of this flawlessness.

I agree that they may have given up on the video to release My Prerogative, but at the same time it's possible that what they shoot wasn't good enough and they would have to go back to shot more scenes. Or maybe her team didn't like it in the end.

That's complete bs, they shot a lot that day from morning till night. I actually believe the dancer rather than the director TBH. They definitely had more than enough material. I'm thinking maybe they scrapped the single along w/ the video because she wouldn't be able to promote it due to her knee injury & having to have surgery for it? Especially since back then she promoted all her singles but no one really knows at the end of the day but I'm sure more in the future there will be scenes that will leak

Still can't believe it costed her a mill a week from her tour

I get that they wanted to move on from the single and focus on GH:MP... but seriously - they could still at least release the footage for the fans... I just want to see the TV dragging scene, more than anything else.. haha

Maybe she didn't like what was filmed and all things combined the label decided to ditch everything and so the director said it wasn't complete (because from a PR standpoint that's a whole lot better than saying the video is actually done and I could release it but her team told me not to...sound familiar?).

I know they said the theme of the video was heavily centered around Catwoman so maybe she wasn't really feeling it.

Plus I don't think this is one of her favorite songs and she probably wanted to distance herself from it on certain level because of what went down with R.Kelly pretty much right as this song was released.

I think we need to look at ITZ as less the pre-blackout era. This was the beginning of her rebellion. She had just gotten married for 55 hours. She dated Colin Farrell for a day. Fred Durst was telling everyone they screwed. And she got injured, canceled her tour, and ended up marrying Shar Jackson's baby daddy while she was pregnant. Back then, that was her public persona. Now, that shit is tame next to the head shaving and 5150 hold. "Outrageous " was a contractual obligation. Britney did not pick it as a single, it was an agreement her label made, kind of like how "Radar" was contracted to be a single. And not only was that decision out of her control, so was the corny addition of the cat woman theme and movie soundtrack. You think the Britney that made the career defining moments of a Madonna duet, Toxic video, and Everytime's mature subject matter wanted to move backwards? I totally believe that Britney said "fuck this" and released my prerogative instead. That was totally her mindset at the time.

y'all flop.

this is all the leaked footage we have. How do people not know of this?

Alot of it is edited & mirrored to create an interesting fan-made video, but this footage is all we have, and i forget where it all came from.

We know about this - It was on the GH: DVD - we are referring to the scenes omitted from this... There was more dancing shot, as you can see from the clip above, more close up shots and the entire trench coat and underwear scenes - with the TV is also a mystery. They were filmed the day before the incident - If I remember correctly, there was 3 days total footage and only the last day of filming, was when the injury happened - they were also only finishing a few shots, according to the dancer, so a full video could have been made.

Everyone here is talking about the scenes other than what was released on this clip.. as it is strange that is all that we got.. when so much more was filmed..

Ohhh okay, hahah, sorry, by the way everyone was talking, it seemed like no one saw anything. hahaha

#flopfan i am. haha. my bad.

I really wish we have more of the trenchcoat and underwear scenes.

My theory with the TV scene is that it would have been playing Catwoman or something....or a news broadcast, with the whole idea of Britney being Catwoman or a creature of the night like that. Since the song was supposed to be the theme song for Catwoman.

It seems like she was always much more passionate about other songs on the album so I don't feel like she was that thrilled about it being a single and was only released because it was the theme song for Catwoman to begin with. So I think this was the last straw and a damn good reason to just scrap it all.

What other song do you think she wanted instead? I think it was probably BOM.

a video for IGTBB was starting to be filmed, but then cancelled during early stages due to Outrageous :mhm:

Right! I totally forgot. The song played on Z100 here in NY a few times and I think TRL metioned it being a single but then it got scrapped. And I was sad about that because it totally should have been released.

So should have WILTBM from Britney but alas it wasn't meant to be. This happens a lot with her, so frustrating.
