Circus was such an emotional time to be a fan it wins easily...the world was rooting for her and she killed it u can say wat u want but womanizer and circus are easily two of her best videos and the circus tour is her second best show as far as quality and production and I don't wanna hear shit about walking b/c when will other basic bitches slay on that many different sections of a stage :4music: it wasn't some basic Pom stage where minimal walking can be acceptable :tea2: she was surrounded by fans...she was/is the comeback queen and circus out sold everyone else's show :reductive: it was so good to finally be able to rub in all those haters faces that Britney Spears wasn't over she was back and hotter than ever bitches :reductive::queenflopga:

Circus was great for a comeback era... but it was all super safe. For The Record is probably my favourite thing to come out of that era. But the videos, performances, tour, promo and music from ITZ were all 100x better. That was Britney at her absolute prime and, so far, her creative peak.

No contest for me: ITZ is my favourite album and era by miles  :thirsty:  :gaspy:

You like the music during the Circus era better than ITZ?

Not judging just.... okay, yea, judging a little bit :uhno::uhok:

I don't really like the album ITZ TBH. It's a little boring to me. Don't get me wrong some songs are hot, but it kinda bores me :mhm:

I think the hype ended too soon. The album was reviewed unfairly, her singles cycle was cut short abruptly, her knee injury, K-Fed distracting her- personal issues distracting her.

Kills me thinking about what the era could have been.

This era had 3 singles which became instantly some of her most iconic projects EVER!

Madonna performance and kiss in the VMA's!

Britney appeared EVERYWHERE to promote!

She had truly creative control in her album and her work in general!

She was still in her peak!

At this point I could easily drag the circus era but I don't want to because there is no era I don't like...!

That's my thoughts on Circus. I could see how if ITZ isn't your style it would be boring, but for me it's the type of music I think Godney is best at - I love the mid-tempos. TOMH, Breathe on Me, Showdown, Early Mornin' are some of my absolute favourite Britney songs. I love the production and her vocals and how unique and sensual they are. Then there's the straight-up bops like Toxic, Boom Boom, MATM... and the pure slayage of Everytime. I remember when the album came out I had never heard anything like it and it just shat on my whole life :crying1:  :crying1:

And then I realized what TOMH was about and I taught myself to fly  :crying1: I like Circus, but for me it's just very safe and a bit too polished... it has some great pop songs, though. There is nothing on it that I really dislike, but most of it, for me, is good but not great, like Kill The Lights, Out From Under, Shattered Glass, My Baby, Lace & Leather, etc. I love Unusual You, Circus, and Blur and some of the bonus tracks  :bomt:

Yeah! I actually really don't like slow mid tempo songs, I like up beat dance songs :crying5: so that's why ITZ bores me :mhm: it still has some good songs like: MATM, Toxic, Showdown, BOM and Everytime :tbh:

:zoomzoom: I can't believe the "Circus" era made it this far.

It's no contest, ITZ era. :prettay:

Itz had a boring album, bad press, and a cancelled tour that was already boring before it was cancelled :prettay:

Yeah that is something that I'll never understand about Circus.. like how did amazing bops like Phonography, Amnesia, and Trouble become bonus tracks?!?!??  :umomg:  :xf11:

I too remembering when ITZ came out and almost every song was so different than what was pop at the time.. It was club, trance, urban.. it was EVERYTHING!!! And honestly the only CD I listened to for a whole year because all others were not worthy tbh..  :nowaygif:  Well ok maybe Kylie's "Body Language" was a little worthy but thank gawd she passed on Toxic because I can't imagine it being anyone's but Britney's and it certainly wouldn't have had the same impact if it had gone to Kylie..  :mhm:
