I really thought you were an intelligent and fun poster, but you pull the same shit as every other illogical troll here... as soon as someone disagree with you, you call them Britards. You don't even read what I say and just respond with the same shit over and over. Why can't Britney fans just have conversations without being salty bitches? Where did I say she had to dance all the way through every performance? I said I loved the cabaret section of Onyx, I said I said I loved the TOMH and POM performances during Circus... those don't have intricate dancing. You're the one who came in here trying to discredit Onyx Hotel by (repeatedly) calling out THE SAME TWO PERFORMANCES, Showdown and Hook Up, as being basic before I even spoke about it + said Toxic was overrated because she only dances one breakdown, so I compared those to the basic-ass performances during Circus (aka all of them...) Like I said, your opinion is your opinion... that's fine, but you need to at least try to follow a logical train of thought if you want to communicate a point, boo Especially if you're gonna be a cunt and act like you're spilling some tea.

Again, you go and call out Showdown and The Hook Up - there is nothing during the Circus tour as challenging as the Toxic breakdown, Boys, Slave, Overprotected, or Outrageous choreo from the Onyx tour. If you were a dancer ( ) you'd know that. I said over and over that I like The Circus Tour: I like all of her tours. I think FF is easily the worst, but Circus is near the bottom for me. I lived through every era, and ITZ - to me - is the most special. Yes, she improved over the course of Circus, but it doesn't change the fact that aside from the production, Britney herself didn't really shine during that era. She chewed gum on stage, walked through performances, and there wasn't any single piece of memorable choreo (which she is known for.) The theme was executed well, but Onyx Hotel was more original and had far superior performances on every level.

Tours aside (this thread isn't about the tours...) MY OPINION is that everything about the ITZ era was better: interviews, the music, her creativity & input in the album, the videos, promo performances, etc. Circus is a fun pop record, but it was a regression in every way from her last two albums and in terms of a pure pop record, it's not as good was what came next (FF). Again, that's MY OPINION. I have nothing but respect for Britney for getting back on her feet during the Circus era, but that alone isn't enough to make it a better era - for me - than ITZ, which I see as her peak creatively. You're free to disagree. But that's the end of my input to this thread.... judging by the poll, the majority of fans agree

The comeback, for the record, all the good press, a solid pop album, 4 great music videos, 3 sucessfull singles, the vma's and the tour was actually completed 

 

Don't get me wrong, ITZ is a flawless album but the era stopped very badly

I never had a problem with that the problem started when someone came at me for picking circus and then said Britney wasn't into circus era and that nothing she did during circus was better than itz...This is why this fanbase is fucked up. They can't enjoy anything as it happens cuz they keep wantin her to do shit she used to do circus was one of the biggest spectacles EVER and it was Britney's show....other pop girls wish and she worked so hard and truly slayed at the end...so I wasn't here for she "walked the whole time" and "those were the worst and most boring performances of her career" bitches that never went thru drama don't put on shows like dat and she did after a very public breakdown so give her credit for even doing the tour and finishing it and she also did great if u don't like it fine but don't speak on how hard she worked...and I love toxic and a few other songs on the album and some performances from the tour "overprotected" from onyx is one of my faves of her career, but I'm not gonna be delusional and discredit the other great quality material and performances throughout her career for itz which was ok but easily not her very best work in my opinion. If they wanna be stupid and come for me I'll beat them at their own game. Cuz I'm queen petty

Circus is the era when I became a fan and it will always have a special spot in my heart. Not only do I love the album, but also the music videos were some of her most amazing ever, the tour was huge and she was fucking everywhere 

But it's also true that, even if I was too young to be a fan back in the day, ITZ era kicked off great: a solid record with great music videos and lots of performances and interviews. It's such a pity that the knee injury didn't allow her to release Outrageous music video and go on with the Onyx Hotel Tour..
