I'm getting so damn tired of people constantly body shaming Britney. I know what some of y'all are going to say; "Oh but this is an online forum, I can say whatever the fuck I want", "She's a public figure, she's bound to have people talking about her image, is part of her work", or my favourite one, "Why are you overreacting so much". I literally don't give a fuck about this being an online website, that doesn't give anyone the right to treat another human being like a lifeless doll, and no, I'm not overreacting because this is a very serious issue. C'mon, it's 2016, it makes me mad that we still have to deal with this kind of stuff, if you find so much joy on talking trash about someone else's body maybe you should stop for a minute and reflect about your behaviour as a person that's gonna have to live as part of a community for the rest of their life.

Btw, in my opinion the mods should do something about this, because body shaming is not part of one's "freedom of speech", it's a very serious and disgusting issue that needs to be eradicated. There goes my rant of the day.

YAS QUEEN, SLAY 'EM. TELL 'EM.

The people here do it for attention, tbh. I know the MODs are hesitant to ban people because the forum isn't full of members, but I'd rather have 15 sane, actual fans here than a bunch of butt-hurt cunts trying to get attention by saying she 'looks fat' or that she's sickly skinny. I've literally read both of those comments today, and it's disgusting. I'm sick of this "She's too big, now she's too thin" bullshit.

I agree with this TBH .. I mean it's true she is a celebrity & these kind of things happen but what this WII person said about Britney was beyond fucking disgusting. What bothers me is that ppl are so quick to drag a persons body but clearly don't do their research about their insecurities. Britney has mentioned in a past interview that she thought her butt was too big and now she lost some of the weight off of it! I actually praise her for that because she met her goal on what she wanted. I'm sure this WII person has insecurities as well & he needs to put himself in Britney's shoes. I don't think he would like ppl talking about him like that ESPECIALLY when he meets his goals on something & ppl just trash it. I honestly think Britney's ass looks amazing

Mte .  Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin

There always has to be a problem with Britney's body :4music:

She'll never satisfy people's absurd standars.

I agree with everything you just said. And for the people who critize Britney's and other celebrities bodies, here's an exercise: before you write a comment, ask yourself if you would say it to their face if you had the chance - if the answer is no, then you shouldn't write it either

I honestly don't give a fuck whether she satisfied them or not, that's her business & her deal. Yes she did lose some of her ass but that's what she wanted and I praise her for meeting that goal .. I think she still has ass TBH I mean have u seen her ass in that MATM outfit come on now lol

I agree with you.

Although, yes this is part of her work and you can't deny that. I mean, if she wasn't half naked most of the time people wouldn't talk about it that much. Her body is a big part of her image and she uses it to commercial purpose. If she was tired of people talking about it, in a good or bad way, then she should just stop using it and being half naked most of the time, simple as that.

And also, people have right to think they prefer her with a bigger booty. Tho there are better ways to express it, i'll give you that.

I get what you're saying & some what kinda of agree but at the same time it's like no one deserves to be body shamed whether they show off their bodies or not. I mean look at Meghan trainer & Taylor .. They don't show off their bodies but they still get body shamed due to their weight

Did you ever think that Britney herself doesn't mind having a big butt and might even like it, but she was shamed and criticized for having a big butt and people made her feel bad about it? I remember on old post on exhell where someone posted 2 vids. 1 was Britneys brother telling her that her ass got too big, and the other one was Britney on TRL saying that her dad also said her butt is too big.... THAT'S the issue in this particular example. Britney naturally has a butt and crazy twisted idiots were shaming her and critizing her for having a butt, and it actually got to her it seems. And don't pretend there isn't insane pressure on female celebrities to be crazy skinny. A former victorias secret model is in the news right now because VS told her she needed to lose weight, so she quit. This is the world we live in now. It's bullshit to equate me to the type of person that shames and labels someone like Amy Schumer and you know it. I don't think its ok to go around mocking and shaming women that aren't as curvy, I wish Britney was stronger and didn't cave in. I guess having so many people including your own dad and brother telling you your ass is too big eventually has it effect

I agreet with OP. I believe it's ok to talk about and comment on what looks good and what looks not so good. Having said that....I don't like extremes. Body shaming is terrible, but I believe you can comment on a celebrity's body or physical appearnce WITHOUT it turning into body shaming. Like for example, if Britney gains some weight or gets bad work done to the face, It's ok to comment on it and note it. It's ok to say "i wish she wouldnt be getting lip injections, it makes her lips look bad" but you don't need to say that she looks like a disgusting pig or that she is ruined forever etc. There's a big difference.

As for the mods, I had half a mind to close that other Gaga body shaming thread, but I like the discussion that is developing in the comments so I allowed it. if it gets out of hand, it will be closed for sure.

The mods disagree with you to the point that they actually deleted the thread I made about her losing her butt, as if I said something evil about her

I deleted that thread. Got reports on it. The thread was straight up negative, nothing positive was coming out of that one.

No of course no one deserves body shaming, obviously. What i'm saying is just that , in Britney's case for example, when you use your body to attract people you must expect people to talk about it, it's inevitable. You just can't expect people to have no opinion on it when this is what you used to attract them. But of course it doesn't mean that people are allowed to be insulting, but you can like or dislike.

I don't really like debate like that anyway because the other way around isn't better if you really think about it. When people are losing their shits over her body (worse with sexual comments and things like that), it's no better, like she's a piece of meat or something.

I really don't know which Army member could disagree with you. I mean... i had this stupid argument days ago with the stupidest woman ever, claiming that Britney needs to gain more fat, do squats and a boob job. I was like "wtf now"

I just can't stand superficial ppl who think she needs to be like a Barbie doll. She's enough Barbie already, she's gorgeous the way she is and it's pointless to have this retarded plastic way of thinking  :icanttt:
