Today we celebrate the 15^th birthday of Britney and Lynne Spears’ book, ‘A Mothers Gift.’

A Mother’s gift is the second book release from this powerful mother daughter duo. The first book, ‘Heart To Heart,’ was released in 2000.

The book is loosely based on Britney’s own life and followed on to become an ABC family television movie, ‘Brave New Girl,’ in 2004. Although the movie deviated a lot from the book itself, Britney was still credited as the Executive Producer of the film.

In 2012, rumours surfaced of a third book from the mother/daughter powerhouse, however this never materialised.

The story focuses on 14 year old Holly Faye Lovell from a small rural town, Biscay in Mississippi, US. Holly gets accepted as a scholarship student into the exclusive Haverty School Of Performing Arts. The main focus is on how Holly copes as the poorest student in the school and her relationship with her mother Wanda.

Let’s celebrate by listening to Britney’s, ‘Brave New Girl,’ which features on her fourth studio album, ‘In The Zone.’
