yeah but work had almost no promo and formation was performed in front of 112.2 million tho :selenerz:

but what you're not getting is that it was a tidal exclusive only! let's not forget that tidal doesn't have much subscribers either .if bey was to release regularly best believe Rihanna would be knocked out of the way

dont forget about pretty hurts tho :moorangu:

The thing is, Beyonce (the album) did what Godney's albums used to do - it sold a ton of copies, so people didn't necessarily need to buy the singles. I mean, it sold over 5 Million copies. The singles almost all flopped:

Drunk in Love - 2

Flawless - 41

XO - 44

Partition - 23

Pretty Hurts - Bubbling Under Hot 100 @ 13

Rihanna's album, by comparison, didn't sell exceptionally well but people have been streaming & buying Work, which kept it at #1 for 7 weeks. Femme Fatale sold fine, but it was the singles that really took off (a #1 and two top 10s) - people bought those rather than purchasing the entire album. Britney needs a strong enough lead single and some strategy that will get people to purchase the album: hopefully they don't stream it all beforehand. They need to create hype to actually PURCHASE the album. From there, if the music is great, it will do fine.

they have to prevent people from uploading the audio to youtube somehow :mhm:

if they dont let it get on any streaming services and if apple doesnt way in advance like they did with burka joan

RIP Britney jean at having even a small chance of minor success

Britney, Boyonce, Meghan Trainers and 5Hairflips are all on Sony labels so I really doubt they be pitted against each other.

They all have potential for their albums go No.1 and Sony will want as many No.1's as it can get so It's very unlikely any of them will get given the same release week.

Britney really needs to make a big splash on first week sales to have any hope of hitting No. 1.

We don't want Godney to get the Demi treatment (being beaten out at 2,000 units by a youtube acapella group despite the fact she had three major label's promoting her)

If 21st century pop legend Britney Spears lost No.1 to Aerola Donut from Nickelodeon we'd never hear the end of it.

You're still clearly not getting it .. Youre comparing a song that was only a free tidal exclusive to something that was released all over the place. You're trying to make bey look like this big flop when it's nothing like that. Beyoncé last album was released normally try comparing that to Rihanna's anti sales

As much as I want her to be #1 on the charts, and in everything else lol, I just hope we get great quality music from her tbh.

#1s are just a bonus, at least for me lol.

But we can still hope for the best!  :crying1:
