What To Expect Monday?

I don't really get what Robin Leach will give us monday ... I'm just praying the offical announcement or press release will happen this monday?

 

It's very odd that out of all the sudden she's about to release an album in just 4 weeks while no single has been release.

She's known to release up to 2 songs ahead of the album and to announce it quite a long time ahead of the actual release.

 

Is it a part of a new strategy? Was it supposed to be a surprise drop? 

 

Currently next POM shows are:

April 13-15-16-20 and 22

then

June 17

 

giving her time to do some promo AND to rehearse the new song(s) for POM??

It seems pretty obvious that they are doing things differently this time around....and those are great news! Most of the big artists are coming up with new and differet ways to release/promote their new albums so it's good that Britney is not staying behind. I think the days of lead single....then 2 months till the album, are long gone. By the time BJ was released Perfume had already flopped so the album was DOA.

My thought is that they might release the album at the same time as the lead single because of Vegas. It has nothing to do with doing things differently, being inovative or whatever, it's just Vegas.

If she would do a traditional release, waiting like 3 months between her first single and the 2nd one with the album, she could only add the lead single in the first place, and wait again to add the 2nd one because it wouldn't be released yet, same with the album if she would like to add another extra song.

Releasing everything at the same time would allow her to add all the songs she wants, the lead single, a potential 2nd single, and why not other songs. That's the only reason that makes sense imo. And if i'm right, it kinda annoys me because again it would mean it's about what would be the best for Vegas and not what would be the best for her music.

Now you're just reading too into it sis .. He's just releasing his story on what's to come.theres not gonna be press or whatever u have going on thru ur mind. I don't get how y'all are confused??? Like u have to do the math

1.Robin is gonna release his story regarding this topic tomorrow

2. Britney already selected her single & will shoot for it next week

3. Her new album will be released in 4 weeks (the same time it takes to edit a video) which pretty much means she will be releasing her first single along w/ her album

I don't know if u noticed this sis but things are now changing when it comes to releases .. No ones is waiting 2-3 months after the single just to release an album anymore

Just being realistic. I'm excited but i'm just not getting my hopes up too much because everything has been about Vegas since the residency started, i don't see why it would change now. I'm preparing myself for a BJ era 2.0 just with hopefully better music and MV. At least i can only be surprised in the good way if i'm wrong.

Well it really doesn't matter whether it's because of Vegas or whether she's trying something new. The strategy that that they are using is good and they're definitely playing it smart this time. Artists now in days are trying different things when it comes to their releases like Rihanna , Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar ..etc even w/ artists like Ariana .. She just released 2 songs & her album is due next month. No one is releasing singles and then waiting 2-3months to release their albums anymore. Things are changing

How it's released isn't the point, i don't care. But the reason matter imo because if it's about Vegas it means they may be in the same state of mind as they were for BJ which is Vegas is the priority, the music is just there to have new material. 

If we have everything at the same time fine, but then what happens? If they plan to release the album and just like BJ, do nothing , it matters to me because i don't want another non existent era.

ueah but now he tweeted something else and put "ooh" within air quotes, ugh can he just release the damn thing he has to say ALREADY!

 

+ People do actually still release singles ahead of the album, look at Ariana (2 songs ahead), Gwen Stefani (she released 3 singles ahead), ....

++ The song can be released earlier then its video, I don't think it's a smart move to release and a song, and a video and the whole album just all in one day ... the purpose of a lead single is to gain anticipation and knowledge the artist is coming with brand new material and serves as sort of a sneak peek of what's to come.
