News Posted April 11, 2016 #1 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Today marks the 5th year since the release of Rihanna and Britney’s iconic number 1 collaboration, ‘S&M.’ Unfortunately no official video featuring both Britney and Rihanna was shot, much to fan disappointment, although the remixed collaboration did help the single hit the number 1 spot on the Billboard hot 100! ‘S&M,’ was released as a fourth single off Rihanna’s album, ‘Loud.’ After the release of the single (album version), Rihanna asked her followers on Twitter about a potential collaboration and Britney Spears was the most popular choice. After a few teases on Twitter between the pair, the song was re-released featuring both artists, catapulting the single to number 1 on the charts. The remix was only released as a digital download and radio airing. There is no physical copy of the single for either promotional or commercial release. Did you know that this is only the fourth female collaboration to top the Billboard charts? Only the following collaborations managed to do so before Brit and Ri-Ri: 1979 – Barbara Streisand and Donna Summer – No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) 1998 – Brandy and Monica – The Boy Is Mine 2001 – Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Mya, Pink and Missy Elliott – Lady Marmalade The CD single available to purchase online is not an official copy, it is an amazing fan made version, that even includes bonus stickers!! Celebrate with us by watching the iconic Billboard performance: Oh what we would do for another collaboration! We loved everything about this and we desperately need a B and Ri video! Happy Birthday S&M! Read it on our mainsite!
1kissgoodnight Posted April 11, 2016 #3 Report Posted April 11, 2016 I don't like that song. I think Rihanna is a bit trashy, didn't like seeing handcuffs on my queen and she didn't look comfortable on the stage, couldn't get off fast enough after they performed together. Also, arrogant Rihanna didn't seem to appreciate just how much of a privilege it was to have Britney on her track
