see I actually find this fairly easy to believe - her show has been a huge success and I can imagine that Billboard are wanting to give her the icon award!

she is an icon, - if she performs as well then WOOOooOOo coz Janet ain't done performed when she collected her BET icon award - probably had too many cancellations to plan and didn't have time!

Cmon you know it would be..   But that doesn't mean it won't be AMAZING!!! If it is true.. THAT'S A BIG IF.. I don't care if it's pre-recorded or whatever.. I'll just be happy we are getting more award showney and a televised performance!!!

If true it would be wonderful! If anyone is deserving of the icon award it's definitely Britney. I couldn't give less of a fuck if it's a precorded performance, she did it before (and I mean before pretty girls) it's not like its completely unheard of/new. A performance is a performance

I can kinda believe this as it would explain why the album/single is later than we all expected after everyone saying "very soon" etc. Plus she has been slaying her Vegas show and attracted allot more artists to perform there, So that would explain the award if its truee

Well I don't believe this TBH.. She's only rumored to attend (maybe perform) but there's no rumor from any media outlet that she will be receiving the icon award. This literally looks like someone woke up & decided to type this to get some attention

I don't know but i just hope if it's true that she won't perform from the axis, and especially not having the exact same performance as how it will be once added to her show, like what they did for PG   i don't want to feel like i'm watching a preview of her POM show, i want the award performance to feel like an award performance, unique and special, that everything won't be used again and the exact same way for her show (entrance, steps, props, outfits..)

No, why would I care about all the celebs praising her? I just want a flawless performance, no matter where it is. Sure, a performance on the BBMA stage would be great - but her Slave performance in 2001 wasn't live inside the auditorium, either.
