MUCH just announced the first performers for the 2016 iHeartRadio MMVAs (they have re-branded the award show to introduce iHeartRadio into Canada), and the list includes Nick Jonas, Alessia Cara, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. I think that Britney needs to join that list of performers. The show is live on June 19th, in downtown Toronto and Britney DOES NOT HAVE A SHOW. She has a show the 18th, and then does not have another 1 until the 22nd. 

It has been 17 years since Britney last performed at Canada's 1st Major Award show, on just the 9th annual show, and I think it would be AMAZING promotion (especially if her album is coming out in May) if she went to the show, presented an award, and performed a medley of her greatest hits. Not only would this be major promotion for Britney, the music, Las Vegas, and the award show, but it would also help credit Britney as the one who launched iHeartRadio into Canada. It would be a major publicized event, and now is a better time then ever! 

Britney has never won a MuchMusic Video Music Award and, despite the fans & public won her the award in 2009, with Circus and they gave it to Gaga (for attending the show), I still think she should attend and remind Canada why they loved her enough to give her a total of 10 #1's on the Canadian Hot 100.

the award show is actually pretty big, the biggest in Canada, and is aired in the US & Mexico.  It's featured many a-lists, including Britney before, from music & acting to TV personalities.

If she performs in any award show it'll be in the biggest ones, like the BBMA's or the VMA's, I don't think she'd perform in the MMVA's  :no1curr2:

Which major artists are performing there? Because the ones listed on the OP don't seem that big  :yaknow:

But my point is that Britney's award show performances are so rare that if she decided to do one it would be in one of the huge award shows, so her performing at the MMVA's seems very very VERY unlikely

true but britney hasnt had a big hit in atleast 4 years, so she really needs to promote like bigtime :mhm:

kinda like she did for womanizer, she performed it all over the place, even on the x factor

It's featured many a-lists, including Britney before, from music & acting to TV personalities. 

Miley, The Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, and Psy have all hosted the show, along with MuchMusic VJs..as well as many others, including Ed Sheeran.

I'm just saying this because it's a very Canada specific thing (even tho all of North America gets it), and something she hasn't done in a long time, which would create ALOT of hype surrounding her & her performance/appearence. She hasn't done anything specific to Canada in terms of Promotion in a long time (from interviews, to performances) and it would be a great way to re-connect with those fans again & remind them of her presence, and the power of it. 

one of few red-carpets that is centered 100% around fans,  as they are placed at both ends. Similar to X-Factor red carpets. She could sign some autographs, take a few selfies and then head inside for the media shots. Media are on the red carpet, but inside is where most of the professional shots are taken.

Boo, those are the FIRST 3 listed....the show has had everyone from Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Psy, Ed Sheeran, Adam Lambert, Madonna, Micheal Jackson (those two were way back tho), and many others, including Britney in the past. Not to mention, it's not just Music stars they invite. Presenters tend to be A & B-list actors from movies & TV, including Shia Lebeouf, Channing Tatum, the cast of Teen Wolf. YouTube/Google some shit.

Not to mention, THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR INTRODUCING "iHeartRadio" INTO THE SHOW & CANADA, iHeartRadio has more A-list connections then any other radio programming, or TV programming for that matter, and could very well make it happen.

I didn't even realize the typo. I even put 19th in my original post.

whatever, MUCH saw it, so i don't care. 

Maybe the idea will strike them.
