The girl is talented and is not her fault if the producers used her vocals (almost) like main vocals.

This TBH .. I give props to Myah for doing what she does but I don't think she should be on Britney's albums anymore because Britney can definitely do that backgrounds on her own. If Britney were to sing live then she could definitely use her As a background singer

It depends , it's also to add more relief to the song, and you wouldn't have the same result if the main singer would do it since it would be the same voice (especially when it's not sung on a different register.). Plus sometimes for some people it simply doesn't sound good at all when they do it themselves. 

But i would agree that when the background vocalist is trying to sound like the main singer then yeah that's just useless. But for BJ's case that's a different story anyway since Myah is singing main vocals too.

Britney did 100% of the vocals on The Answer & Don't Hang Up and they're two of her best tracks. Hopefully she's doing 100% of the BGVs on the majority of the tracks on B9

On some songs yes , but not every songs. It's not that she can't do it, of course she could but the result as a whole may not make the song as good as if it would be someone else. Sometimes it's meant to have other people on it. I mean, i just listenned to those songs so these will be my example, imagine BOMT, Stronger, Crazy , Hot as ice, My Prerogative (and there's a lot more), with only Britney doing background vocals, it wouldn't be the same imo.
